  1. Any pictures of the front end Casey? Scott
  2. That Firebird of Ponch's is just plain ugly. What's with the combo Trans Am and Formula hood? I think Revell had better taste in releasing what they did to represent Ponch's. The kit doesn't look too bad. The real car looks really bad. Scott
  3. ???? Which car are seeing backup lights on? Scott
  4. What does he need if he wants to "chevy" creeks? Scott
  5. Steve, that '72 Impala, you really do not want that and should send to me for disposal. You lucky dog. Scott
  6. Looks good Pat. Scott
  7. Very cool! Much better than I expected. Scott
  8. ???? If the dog was out there after several hours, I might be a little concerned. Living in Minnesota I've seen lots of dogs outside in the winter. In the snow. And it doesn't seen to hurt them. They have fur and padded feet. They're related to wolves, who live out in the cold all the time. It's not like shutting them up in a hot car in the summer. This does mean I think it's okay to leave the dog like for a overly long time. But, if the owner stopped off for donut and cup coffee, I don't think it's going to affect the dog too much. The dog may not like it. But knowing dogs, it probably will not be happy being left alone on a nice moderately warm day. They're dogs. Not people. Scott
  9. It looks like the kit does not include those funky looking optional fog/driving lights you see on some of the DSs from the time. Too bad. I kind of like the looks of them. Another one of those weird features that always make Citroens interesting. Even though they are not included, it won't stop me from buying the kit. Scott
  10. That Japanese Ford looks both cool and odd. It would be fun to see one built. Odd front end. The upper half is '58. The lower half, grille and bumper, looks like '57? Odd, and interesting. Scott
  11. Prefer the '72, but I'd love the '71 Impala too. Scott
  12. Still interested in knowing, Shay. What does "craic" mean? Scott
  13. I have no Photobucket account. So I have to thank Richard, the "Snake" for posting photos like that above. Scott
  14. Yea, right behind the driver's seat if no back seat was ordered. Magazine articles from the time complained about the spare tire location. Especially on models with the optional rear seat. Cut down on inside luggage space. That's why several aftermarket companies came up with outside tailgate brackets, simular to what Ford offered on the Bronco. Scott
  15. Best advice anybody can give you. I agree 100%. Scott
  16. Tamiya lacquer is designed for use on plastic models. No need for primer. But it's a good idea, none the less. Scott
  17. And this pleases you? Scott
  18. I will be painting mine in Tamyia's TS-26, Pure White. And sorry, I'm one of those who is unable to post pictures to this site anymore. Scott
  19. Henry built the famous Ford Tri-motor airplane. He was hoping it would become to the skys, what the Model T had become for to the roads. And yes, Buddy Holly in particular was great. And music in someways did die that night in Clear Lake, IA that night 56 years ago. Scott
  20. Oh, by the way, another great video review Chris. About the spare tire. The way they show it in the box art, is its correct factory location. The saddle tanks would have been an aftermarket item in the real world. I doubt they would have been chrome plated in real life. But a silver color of some sort. Scott
  21. No top. Soft top. Or hardtop were all factory options on that generation Blazer. Scott
  22. Just got home from work, and found the Fujimi 1/24 scale Ferrari 250 GTO waiting for me. Got it at a good price, and fairly fast from Tokyo Hobby in Japan. Looks like a very nice kit. And I'm very impressed with speed it got to me. Scott
  23. I'd use Tamyia lacquer spray paint. A little bit expensive. But, not that bad and almost fool proof. There are cheaper paints out there. But, I found you get what you pay for. Scott
  24. I love them all. I didn't like the "Zinger" style/"wild" option for these kits. A year ago I got the Jeepster. Built it stock and ignored the "wild" parts. I'd love to add the any of the above kits to my collection. Especially the Vega. Scott
  25. Great news! Any reissue of any Jo-Han kit is great news! Let's hope we see more in the future. Scott
