  1. Neat kit. Simple and nice. Scott
  2. Good review. And I like the tip about the pearl dots for taillights. Scott
  3. I especially like the '32 Fords, but all three look nice. Scott
  4. One of the things from the 50's and 60's which I wish were still true today. Knives are now days are looked evil things, rather than the useful tools they really are. And we need more fathers like your's Art, and mine, who take the time to teach their kids how to be responsible with all tools. Including knifes and guns. The three kids I raised all learned how to handle guns before they were age 12. And, by the way, I'm not an NRA member and don't own any real guns. But, a buddy of mine owns several guns, I felt the kids should learn the truth about so called "dangers" in life. This included the truth about, drinking, drugs, and sex. I don't drink (35 year sober as of 7/23), don't use drugs, and don't encourage promiscuous sex. (But I'm not a prude either. I know kids may experiment.) Kids need responsible adults to help teach them what is right and what is wrong. And use common sense. Scott
  5. I'd only be embarrassed by NOT having a car to drive. Any car is cool compared to using shoe leather only. Scott
  6. Your right. It is a very interesting story. More simular to AMC's AMX than I expected. And it explains why it still looks okay, where the others in this post don't. Scott
  7. The Partridge Familiy bus would be cool if it came as a pre painted kit. Scott
  8. I want a show room "stock" street version of this kit. Scott And yes, I know it was never done.
  9. I'll still holding my breath, waiting for MPC's version. Any good news out there? I hope so. I'm starting to turn blue! Scott
  10. I hope your right about a '72. I've love the real car from the first time I saw it previewed in the magazines of the day. That open "fish mouth" grille just looked right to me. The fastback is my favorite body style for that year Torino. But, I like the whole Torino line. All body styles looked good to me for '72. Even the plain low line, non "fish mouth", Torinos. Plus Mercury's Montego line up looked great that year too. And the dashboard, especially with optional gauge package looked cool too. And lastly, that year's Ranchero looked great too. A good year for Ford's mid size, redesigned, line of cars. Scott
  11. OK, Corvairs I'd like to see done as 1/25 scale model kits. '65 or '66 Corsa hardtop and convertible. '65, '66, or '67 Monza 4-door hardtop. A Ramside pickup, Greenbiar, and Corvan. I don't care what year on those. A '62 Monza station wagon. And finally, a '62, '63, or '64 Monza Spyder convertible. Scott
  12. How about a Checker cab like those seen in Taxi and so many other TV shows? Naturally, I'd want one that could be built as a stock non taxi/Maraton version also. Scott
  13. Hey, I get hit by lightning!
  14. No! Do it right. The TV version in 1/25th scale. The old Aurora/Polar Lights kit is okay. But it needs to be done better like Round 2 did with the Batmobile. Scott
  15. I wonder how many mph the horse was doing to get that result? At least we can see that the driver survived (I'm assuming that's the driver). Scott
  16. The Mustang looks okay. The rest..... Augh.... There is short, and then too short. The Mustang kind of reminds of what AMC did with Javelin to make the AMX. Scott
  17. That is the video I was referring to. I thought it only 100 mph. I was wrong it was 120 mph. But that is the video. Looking at the results, with a modern Escort, I'm sorry to say but I have a hard believing the Plymouth was doing 150 mph. Scott
  18. That is very cool. I too would like know how you did that. Scott
  19. Wow! All of this over a place to buy models and other supplies. I don't care if it's run by Martians, if they don't try to convert me into one. I'd like to a Hobby Lobby someday. We don't have them in the Twin Cities yet. I saw in Duluth a couple of months ago. But, didn't have time to stop. Since I'm not a vampire, I don't have too many problems walking into stores with religious items, like crosses. I may not spend too much time in the religion isle though. Hate to take any chances. Scott
  20. Oh... Hobby Lobby. His Jesus comment. It's now making sense. I'm sometimes a little slow on these things. Plus we have no Hobby Lobbys in this area. So, I only know about them by what I've heard on the news. Scott
  21. Your not the only one who wants a Rabbit. I stated that a few postings back. I would prefer if it was a GTI. But, a regular 1st gen, US spec plain Rabbit is OK with me. Scott
