  1. Yeah, we know, it still makes for some good ribbing though.
  2. Yeah Gary I know lol. Just wanted to have some fun with my buds on here.
  3. Fantastic Dave, yes, it definetely has more options. Glad you got a set, I can't wait to see it finished up.
  4. The only GTO's I'm interested in are of the Pontiac variety. Hey, I gotta mess with you guys a little. Peace and have a great weekend, Geno.
  5. David, it looks great, don't give up, all is not lost. Firebird Designs makes a set for this model, check out their website. Jeff's great to deal with. He'll custom make them as well as I've had him custom make several sets for my projects. They are very nice decals. Here's the set for $7.00 He makes a lot of decals for many kits no longer made. Go to catagories then AMT kit decals. Here's the link. Hope this helps. Blessings, Geno. https://firebird-designs.ecrater.com/
  6. I like where you're going with these Robert. I love these old Dusters. Keep us posted.
  7. Bill, it's the '55 Ford Panel truck. Blessings, Geno.
  8. Cool build Eric, I dig Mustangs of any vintage other than the mid/late 70's turds.
  9. Way cool Bill, I love old panel trucks, shoot, I love old trucks period lol. I'm working on one as well, posted in the trucks forum. I'll be keeping an eye on yours, it's starting out great.
  10. Man, that is looking fantastic Keith. I really dig those old gassers.
  11. Thanks Dave, and everyone else for the kind words. It's the kit chassis I just added the coil overs. I also added the Boss 429 engine over the kit and the seats and shifter are from my parts stash. Wheels and tires are Pegasus. The floor mats I made from some vinyl the missus had lying around. The roof I sanded and shaped until I got the more rounded look of the real truck. I was afraid to go too far and sand completely through. It's not perfect but does look better.
  12. Terry, I had Jeff at Firebird Designs custom make these specifically for this build. He does a great job. Check out his website. He makes these for the Monogram '60 Sedan Delivery so I worked with him to get them made for this truck.:)

Hi Terry, just wanted to make sure you got this info. Jeff is great to deal with. Tell him I recommended you.;)

  13. A few steps closer. This is turning out to be a pretty fun build.
  14. Blackwalls look the best, way cool looking truck Ryan.
  15. Thanks Rich, those are the Danbury Mint versions. The one on the right was given to me by a friend as a parts car but it was too nice to scrap. I made the changes and gave it back to him lol. It now sits in the front of his display which makes me feel nice for saving it.
  16. Peter, you're yanking our chain aren't you, that's a real car......right? A seriously beautiful build.
  17. A '69 Judge that was damaged and converted to a standard GTO. It was missing the rear wing, antenna and top scratched. I did fill in the holes and repainted the trunk lid, removed all the Judge graphics, replaced the antenna and touched up the top and a nice polish job.
  18. Looks great Rich, thanks for sharing them with us. I'm always happy to see others collections.
  19. Pete, that is the best looking build I've ever seen of this kit. Absolutely stunning. Great job.
  20. Whatcha got Dave?
  21. Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Rich, these are made in a few different paint schemes and can be had pretty reasonably.
  22. Terry, I had Jeff at Firebird Designs custom make these specifically for this build. He does a great job. Check out his website. He makes these for the Monogram '60 Sedan Delivery so I worked with him to get them made for this truck.
  23. Sorry to hear that. I pray you can re-establish your relationship with him. My birth father died when I was a baby, wish I could have gotten to know him. But I do have an awesome stepdad. Life is short, find him if you so desire. It may be great thing. Just a thought. God bless you.
  24. Bummer, do you stay in contact with him?
