  1. Can't wait to see it. I love this gen Viper as well. I pray it makes a come back.
  2. Thanks Paul, I sent you one, just give me a shout back. Blessings, Geno.
  3. Looks great Ishmael. I agree, the Ford GT needs a proper V8, like the one going in the new GT500. That would be one He## of a beast.
  4. Picked this one up recently for a great price. Made by Icons for their University of Racing series. Scales out on par with the Danbury Mint '67 so it is 1/24 not 1/25 like the First Gear version, which is also really nice. Box says it's modeled after Milt Schornacks real car.

    1962 Bel Air

I give it an SS for Super Sweet.
  7. Again, thank you all for the kind words, this was actually a fun build, now I just need to get the other one wrapped up lol.
  8. A '70 LS6 Chevelle in a black tux.....mean with class.
  9. Looks great Randy.
  10. The reason I didn't use the whole DM GTO is because the scrap one I purchased was a convertible, the Testors kit I picked up dirt cheap. I've only had to do minimal mods thus far.
  11. Betcha didn't know a DM '69 GTO chassis fits under a Testors GTO body lol. I've gotta repaint this as the gray is a little too light. But it's started. The only thing I had to do to the engine was switch out the stock air cleaner to the open element, and the wheels and tires fit on no problem. I'm getting maximum use out the scrap DM GTO I got lol.
  12. Yes, this is a diecast model kit, I think the standard Testors Judge was 1/25, I may be wrong. This is a true 1/24, this model comes with 2 sets of grilles for the hidden or exposed headlights. The exposed headlights are like the Welly Firebird though, on the very small side. Since the real car had the hidden headlights then the doors were removed, I will modify the DM grilles to replicate that. Actually the whole chassis from the scrap DM GTO I got fits nicely into the Testors body with very minimal mods. That's gonna save me a lot of work lol. I get pics soon showing that.
  13. Picked this up dirt cheap. It will become the "Punisher" GTO. Already got the body stripped and ready for primer. I've got a thing for replicating really cool movie cars lol. Or acquiring models of them, I have quite a few. I also have a Lincoln Mint '69 Charger that will become the Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry Charger.
  14. Oooo Randy, that looks like it's gonna be sweet. Keep us posted.
  15. Tony, I'm droolin' all aver everything lol. That absolutely rocks.
  16. Beautiful build Ken, it looks so right.
  17. The May display looks great Rich.
  18. Looking great John, I have one I'm converting into the Two Lane Blacktop '55.

    the dodge

Good ol Al Bundy lol, good job Michelle.
  20. Man, that is sweet Eric, great idea and build.
  21. Thanks guys, yes Rich, it is a Danbury model. You can find these on Ebay pretty cheap as they are plentiful.
  22. Thanks guys, I do appreciate it. Dave, the emblem is a decal that came with the kit, I just BMF'd the location before putting the decal on.
  23. This is why I was looking for a set of DM Pontiac Rallye II's. I never cared for the looks of the wheels that came on the model, so I wanted to give it a little more attitude lol, plus keep it all Pontiac. I also switched out the too thick rear antenna with one fashioned from an insect pin. Thanks for taking a peek.
