    Buick GSX

Looks great to me Dave. That was the first kit I built when I got back into modelling a few years back. Love it.
  2. That is super sweet, especially the color. It fits it to a T. Great job Chris.
  3. Thanks guys for letting me share my builds with you. I do appreciate it. I think my buddy took his dieting to the extreme lol.
  4. Tyler, great job on a neat little truck.
  5. Other than a few minor details he's DONE, lol. This is the other '55 Panel I was working on for my wife in conjunction with Desperado. She's into the lifted trucks and has her own shelf of them in the cabinet.
  6. That is way cool Dave. great job.
  7. Steve, I am actually converting a Franklin Mint standard 'Cuda I got for free into an AAR using parts from the Monogram kit, I already have the Deep Burnt Orange paint for it.
  8. I have the Monogram 1/24 version of this model and it definitely has the wrong shape tail. Surely Revellogram didn't make a 1/25 version with the same mistake???? I can't wait to hear your thoughts Dave. Thanks.
  9. Thanks guys, it's now happily displayed on my truck shelf in the cabinet.
  10. I recently bought some items, it took a little longer to get them but I did get them.
  11. Hi Steve, yeah, that might be correct, it's a small discrepancy to pay just to have a '58 in my collection. If they weren't side by side it's such a small difference you'd never know. Width wise the Caddy is a tad wider just as the real car is, the height is a a bit taller as well but I think that's due to the oversize wheels and tires. I just had to have one though lol. I did make my own boot for it and it turned out great, I'll post pics after I get the wheels and tires swapped. I'm glad this model has created some buzz, it's nice to get something different. It's been awhile. So many models have just been rehashes.
  12. Cool Gary, the Welly set definitely looks more appropriate and will allow that big tank to sit a little lower which would be more appropriate as well. Please post some pics when you change them, I'd love to see how mine will look. My '53 isn't supposed to be here until mid-week next week. I'll be anxiously awaiting lol.
  13. WOOHOO!!!! , I just bought me a WELLY '53 for $10.
  14. Gary, I think I'm going to go with a set of the wide whites and wires from a Welly '53 Caddy. I think those will look much better size wise and are still appropriate for a '58 and will still fit the metal axles. They can be had cheap on Ebay. I'll put the '58 wheels and tires on the '53 and give it to one of my grandsons as I already have the FM version of the '53.
  15. Man, that is so beautiful Steve, these are near and dear to me as my Pops had one when i was a kid.
  16. Thanks guys for your help, I do greatly appreciate it. I'll post something in the wanted section. Blessings, Geno.
  17. You are correct Randy, a few screws and hot melt. Should be pretty simple to disassemble for a respray. I think I'm going to try my hand at making my own boot. I haven't found one with the right contour ahead of the trunk lid.
  18. Randy, I can get the V's and emblems from the Model Car Garage '59 Caddy set. Also the fender crests plus a few other bits that'll work.
  19. Hi Andrew, I haven't heard of the Imex model, can you give me more details? Thanks, Geno.
  20. Super nice build Craig.
