  1. If you're going through hell, keep on going.
  2. As the 1:1 cars have identical shells, it's a safe bet they'll be using the interior bucket and chassis from their '65 comet for their stock version; with, of course, a '64 dash most likely heisted from the craftsman amt '64. The cad pics show that they re using the '66/'67 firewall copied from the amt comet/fairlane as well with the modified chassis plate. If someone wasn't taking advantage of the heavy lifting done by someone else, there's a pretty good chance we wouldn't be seeing the variety of new kits we are now 😜 ... not that it makes it right, but it's plain one manufacturer needed the boost when it became evident their design staff wasn't quite up to par on a particular truck project. Their other projects seem to be working out well.
  3. Problems properly stated are half solved.
  4. Kind of an unexpectedly profound line in an otherwise raunchy song
  5. Brother Jimmy on the tv; Killer on the stereo, sayin' if you want to get it, you've got to let it go
  6. The envelope and stance look great so in the end it probably won't matter as long as you are pleased with it
  7. Cruising the back roads on a beautiful fall afternoon with the Dirt band on the stereo, gunning it through a carpet of golden leaves and watching them in the mirror swirl and dance in the golden sunlight.
  8. Very nice layout You sure that toploader isn't 1/20 ? 😜 handy chart from summit for sizing... perhaps the designer's math was 'off' a tad...
  9. She ain't pretty, she just looks that way.
  10. Lest I appear to be just a chevy fan with my pics, it's really just a case of hardly ever seeing old Fords or dodges cruising around. Spotted near a road, getting ready to mosey on over to pick up a wedding party destined for an outdoor ceremony yesterday near the trees in the background. Ain't love grand?
  11. Makes me wish I was closer sometimes. Got lured into another wee stroll doon ta tha crik last night... in another six weeks it may be a wee flounder through the drifts Got back and roasted a couple of smokies over a fire and then dug out my vintage pocket golden field guide to stars and laid back on my picnic table and tried to id all the constellations in sight. Only one meteorite showed up and about 8 satellites. They kind of spoil it. Sure happy the decent weather is holding.
  12. Today is the architect of your tomorrow; build it with intention.
  13. Above all else, guard your heart, for from it flow the springs of life.
  14. Exception I'll gladly make in this case to my rule of never forgetting a face.
  15. Finally getting into some stuff I had in storage after dad passed away. I saved what I could of his hobby stuff, trains and such, before his wife cleared it out This old steamer, tender and some cars surfaced this week. Not sure which manufacturer but it's a brass 4-4-2 in what looks like O gauge. Any one know about this one?
  16. Love many, trust few; always paddle your own canoe.
  17. Asleep at the Wheel is a great western swing band.
  18. Zork is a game featuring illuminating, edifying quotes like 'you are likely to be eaten by a grue'.
  19. Nothing disrupts the system like an inquisitive mind.
  20. If we let fear win, we lose.
  21. Here's a foundation for the custom deuce... Who else has pics of the original parts packs called for?
