Played a great horse the other day; took seven horses to beat him.

Our school called it foods & nutrition. To a teenage guy, it was perfect... a roomful of girls and Food ! ... and then you still had mechanics and drafting classes to look forward to

For those interested in doing so, Mr Geary had a solution for those rear quarters...

For want of a nail, a shoe was lost; for want of the horse, the rider was lost; for want of the rider, the battle was lost; for want of the battle, the kingdom was lost... and all from the want of a horseshoe nail.

A fascinating look into the '61 Bel Air conflagration. Lots of beautiful old fire apparatus in the film too. -

Here's an F250 4x4 that had a dually axle swapped in (and '87-'96 dually outer fenders adapted). Because true F350 duallys use the same wheel front and back, it has special heavy duty hubs in front for the offset on the wheels. In scale, I guess you can just build whatever looks good to you

GM Canada's Maple Leaf truck. Made from the 30's to the early 50's. Interesting thing about the Beaumonts and Acadians was that the trim pieces were usually chrome castings vs the chevy's stamped aluminum pieces. I've been picking away at a '68 conversion and now that Canuck3d is making conversion sets for these Beaumonts maybe I'll finally get one done

Hilarious. About the same level of intelligence as exists in the world of new auto journalism must have created that. Lots of know-nothings out there in influential positions. I guess it could also be what seems to be a trend we've been seeing where once the license fees have been paid, there's no further oversite looking after representation of intellectual properties. We've seen the concept happen with a well known model kit release about ten years ago and even this... a sign dad was given years ago by a buddy. Legit with bar code and Ford license sticker. Horace and John were surely turning in their graves
