  1. So tell me, When does the Swim suit edition of the Mayan Calendar come out?
  2. One word, Stunning! Awesome work Cory!
  3. The 55 Suburban is my recent WIP
  4. Here's my contribution, the 60 has been on the shelf since 99.
  5. I also have a project going using the 55 Cameo "re-pop", The parts did seem some what brittle to me as well. The plastics formula being sub-grade, also being a cheaply made Chinese made product no telling what we will get. ( check the stamp inside of the cab) I was not happy being it was molded in Bright yellow either & prefer the higher quallity grey tinted plastic much better. Not all kits are created equal even if they come out of the same cavity...
  6. Time to put on my tin foil hat Yum... OREOS!!!!
  7. Look'n good Corey, I Like the diamond tuck!
  8. nice work!
  9. Very inspiring build! Its good to see one built, Being I just picked one up @ Hobby Town & a bottle of British racing green with high hopes for a build just the other day. Cool car with lots of detail !
  10. Chilly Man! Now if only a hot tub & some two legged dear in the back .
  11. Mine is in the original sacks hanging on a peg board above my desk. The only catch is you have to open them carefully so that they can be rehung on their hooks. When they get to overly used & more or less scrap I have a drawer for the "bits & pieces" .
  12. Caminos & Ranchero's were rust buckets from the start. Never cared for them myself. " I'm a pick up man!" Love that jingle...
  13. I think I walked across that derelict in a salvage yard once & very convincing, Very nice build Chuck!
  14. Exactly my sentiments, And my question to GM is, Why?
  15. I am a fan of rust and grime & the aesthetically abandoned automobile. Love the detail, top notch work! The bail on the new master cylinder looks much better. May I have more please Sir?!
  16. I can smell the musty Oder in the interior already Old iron always had that certain "fragrance" when you opened the door after sitting for so long. Very Cool!
  17. The interior of the car didn't get overlooked. I would take some picks of it but being these were taken with my camera phone & it doesn't have macro they wouldn't come out very well . It has worn beaten down seats, The interior panel missing from the drivers door exposing the window,& window track and regulator with a pair of Vise Grips for a window handle. Sun glasses on the dash along with all of the junk left lying around on the floor boards. The jack & four way in the back seat . Guess the flat wasn't worth fixing? The previous owner left one heck of a mess when he ditched this old Chevy. Seems the owner was from Oklahoma according to the licence plate just about to fall off.
  18. First coat ruddy brown primer , then the color coat which was "50's Aqua" the two tone of flat white and some 1500 wet sanding. then I applied some weathering chalks with light dusting with the air brush of various rust, dust & grime colors.. I never dull coated the finish Dull coat subdues the effect dramatically from my experiences. I guess all of those years of Being a Narrow Gauge railroader paid off after all. Thank you for the compliments.
  19. Ruddy brown primer and a scuff pad & a little weathering chalk. Thank you
  20. Super Beetle! The engine detail is superb! Top Notch stuff!
  21. Never, always came up clean with the D.O.T lottery . What ever you do dont say, " Drug test Ok, which one do I get to test? "
  22. Picked up the Monogram 31 Ford "rat rod" kit & 1 pack of the vintage AMT white wall tires. The 31 I have plans to slam that puppy in the weeds with a huge mill bulging out of the frame for that true "Rat rod" look. well thats the plan anyway
  23. Nice 210 sedan. Root Beer MMMM!
