    very kool… You're right about the JD - IH crowd.. My father in law is a Farmall guy to the bone and I'm a Deere guy, fan all my life and currently working at Deere in the steel stamping division... We go at it from time to time, but it's good banter!!!!

    Thank ya! Not much work done today. Too busy with other stuff. Did manage to sand and smooth down the cable drums though!

    Some more work on the boom area today!! twin booms mean twin winches.. Made new cage sides for the wi inch and boom mounts.. spool cut in half will be the separate spoils to lift and lower booms. idea of spacing and set up. lifting spools mocked up..

    Very nice!! I have a friend that has a pretty awesome 1/64th layout. Pretty awesome what you guys do with the smaller scale stuff!!

    Got that right!! I should be at the bench but I’m watching and hoping the Packers pull their head out of their.... squirrel!!!!! lol was thinking earlier I may have to build a wrecked rig to go on the lift!!

    I’ve been working on the booms lately, have a different idea for the mount for them. Instead of going with the older kit part I may make my own and mount the spools above... Post pics later tonight..
