  1. Finally, my first completion of 2025. This one was started by my Dad back in the late 1980's, I believe, and he never got around to finishing it. It's a Johan '70 442 converted to a Rallye 350, albeit not completely accurate or stock. Overall I'd say it was 75-80% of the way finished. Sharing a pic of what I started with. It had a few missing/broken parts that I sourced from another Johan 442. Decals are most likely Fred Cady's, which have yellowed some over time. He did scratch build the hood scoops, and front & rear spoilers. I have no idea what brand paint the yellow is. As you can see, it doesn't have the right grille, I believe the kit one was missing and he swapped in a 71 or 72 unit. Basically, I finished up the engine and underhood, added some wiring as well. A quick and simple painting of chassis bits, and some touch ups in the interior, and I called those good. The faces of the side mirrors were one of the parts missing, so I made some out of plastic stock. This was a fun and rewarding little side project while being in the middle of my current main project. Glad I got around to finishing it up, and love it still has a bit of that "survivor" look to it. Thanks for looking and any comments/questions.
  2. Faded pic from 1984. That's me pulling the wagon, with my brother riding and the neighbor kid pushing. Our '68 F100 in the background. Dad was doing some bodywork to it at that time as someone had sideswiped it earlier in the year.
  3. What a great looking build, as always, Chuck.
  4. Stunning work all around!
  5. Great job on those decals, Bill. Those were a pain, for me anyways. Very sharp box stock build.
  6. I'm planning on building it, but if I'd change my mind I'll let you know.
  7. Super sweet build. That Starliner chassis is such a huge improvement. Love the look with those hub caps, might just have to do the same whenever I build mine.
  8. Sounds good. I'll cut out both 440 and 440+6 non background ones for you. The GTX callouts are yours too if you want. Shoot me a PM with your address and I'll send them out as soon as I can.
  9. No actual work, but dug out this one and cleaned it up with some dish soap and water as she was a little dusty. This was a build my dad had started many years ago and never finished. It's a Johan 70 442 that he made into a reasonable Rallye 350. Some of the decals have yellowed but not much one can do about that. I do remember he scratch built the hood scoops, rear spoiler, and the lower front spoiler which isn't seen in the picture. I think the grille was missing in this one, so he substituted in a 71 (or 2?) unit. Not going to go bonkers with it, just some paint detailing and finishing up the engine and other stuff underhood. It is missing a few parts, but got another kit that can cough up those parts. I'm kinda stuck at the moment on my current project waiting on paint, so thought this would make for a good in-between project.
  10. Now that has to be about the best looking build of this kit I've ever seen. You wrestled this monster of a kit into submission beautifully. I absolutely love the color choice. I, too, have one in my stash but never had the guts to start it, and might never will!
  11. That's a beauty, Randy! Always been a fan of black cars with a red interior.
  12. Are you still in need of those decals, Bill? I have those kit ones and could give you the engine callouts and the 2 silver GTX ones. I need the red one myself. Or, I have these Keith Marks ones if you're interested. Just the 440 numbers, or the ones with the black surround? Both sets? They're yours if you want them.
  13. Thanks Carl! And will do if he does, haven't looked over his whole stash quite yet.
  14. Despite the challenges you faced this turned out fantastic! Very impressive foil work, along with that tri-tone interior. One to be proud of for sure.
  15. Very cool project and outcome, a subject rarely modeled. Thanks for sharing this!
  16. That is a beautiful Charger, color was a great choice. Very clean build.
  17. Got these from my brother. He hasn't built in over 20 years and will be getting rid of his collection. He said I could take ones I was interested in, and being I had loaned him some money in the past, this is like a partial repayment. Several were our father's before he passed away. Most are un-started save for the Superbird, Brooks Daytona, and Bonneville.

I really like that two tone interior. Heck, the whole build is sweet, great job on this one!
  19. That is a proper looking Talladega, very sharp work. Love the wide meats out back. I'm in agreement with everyone that Ford should have dropped the 429 into this, but as mentioned, Ford brass didn't want anything stealing Mustang's thunder. Wish they would have offered an optional 4spd trans too.
  20. Menomonie area here (west of Eau Claire). Born and raised my first few years as a tot in Milwaukee. Not a member of any clubs.
  21. Well done Mario! Thanks for the heads-up about the decals.
  22. Definitely an appropriate license plate, as that is exactly what it is! Those carbon fiber additions look great. You're welcome for the unbeknownst inspiration for this. Lambos, to me, just need to be in bright in your face colors. Kudos to a job well done Steve!
  23. I like it, nice job on the front seat as it looks great and those decals really set it off. Even if you're not 100% happy with it, there sure is a lot to like here. Congrats!
  24. Fantastic Ford! I looked through your WIP and love the mods you did, nice work on them. I have to remember that Metallic Orange over Silver Leaf, looks great.
