  1. Oh man that is a beautiful Galaxie! That interior work is very crisp and well done, as is the rest of the build.
  2. Sounds pretty normal to me as well, it happens from time to time. I've experienced that a bit on my current build. Had started gung ho on it at first, then lost steam for it and didn't touch it for several weeks. Just recently I have picked it back up again, plugging away bit by bit.
  3. That's what I was wondering as well. Had a former co-worker have his wife take some spray paint to his truck when he was caught cheating.
  4. Saw this turd a couple weeks ago. And yes, all the drivers side windows and back window were busted out and plastic sheeted too. My cousin saw it driving down the road still like this about a week ago.
  5. Great work Benny! Very crisp building style, keep up the good work. I agree about the AMT bodies looking great, though the Thunderbirds left a lot to be desired.
  6. Oh yes this is nice! That red is gorgeous.
  7. Many thanks again guys! I'm onboard with thinking these Olds kits are a bit underrated as well. I am guilty of using these as a basis for kitbashing too, did one already and have two more to bash with other projects someday.
  8. Bravo! Love the low key sleeper look, but yet still looking tough as nails and like it's speeding just sitting still. Excellent color and wheel choices. And impressive detailing under that hood.
  9. Great looking '32 Ken, very sharp build. Love the pie crust's & mags, such a great combo.
  10. Thanks a bunch guys!
  11. Beautifully done, as she looks factory fresh!
  12. I've always loved these machines, and finally got around to building one. Pretty much box stock, just giving the suspension a slight raise, some wiring under the hood, and swapping out the Goodyears for some Firestones. Tamiya TS-101 Base White polished out. TS-21 Gold was used on the lower panels, with just a light dusting of Tamiya Smoke over it. These are great kits to put together with no real fitment issues. Thanks for lookin' and any comments or questions.
  13. Very kewl! That roof looks pretty dang good on the Stude.
  14. Saw these guys recently. The striped tomato sounded very healthy.
  15. Very kewl Chevy, Chuck. Love the conversion. That color looks like a shade that would have been available back then.
  16. The dark chrome was definitely a happy accident, as it really adds to the sinister look it has going for it. That interior, wow! Great stance and paint as well. Congrats! Thanks for posting, it gives me some inspiration to dig mine out of the stash and get it started. Planning on something similar to what you've built here.
  17. Thanks again guys, and I agree, that I wish this kit (and their others) were a little cheaper.
  18. Oh that's nice! Beautiful paint, black sure isn't easy to play with. Wheels/tires are a great choice and give it a very aggressive look. Really like that shifter as well.
  19. Thanks a lot guys. Maybe I should have put a warning in the title about the bright color LOL. They are the kit supplied decals. They laid down beautifully with just a little setting solution.
  20. Beautiful job on those decals, very intimidating looking indeed. Congrats on another great build and thanks for sharing!
  21. That looks great to me. Those 300's had such beautiful, clean lines. You can never go wrong with that color combo either.
  22. Finished this one up last weekend. It's the first Aoshima kit I've built and it went together pretty smoothly. Though, I did bugger up the side windows a little bit unfortunately. She's completely box stock other than the license plate decal. Hosed down in Tamiya TS-22 Light Green and polished out. I left all the LW decals off for a cleaner look. This was a nice change of pace from my usual 60's & 70's American iron builds. Thanks for lookin' and any comments or questions.
  23. A turbo 300? Heck yeah! And man, I never would have thought steelies & caps would look so good on this gen. Very cool build Chuck!
  24. Nice lookin' Scout Mike. It wears that green well. They sure are pretty simplified kits, but they are such a cool subject and never get tired of seeing them. Congrats!
  25. Pretty cool build Chad. Those tires, wheels, and grille are a great upgrade and really make it stand out.
