  1. Great work on such an iconic race car.
  2. Lol same here. Very cool Hudson, Chuck. Love that slammed stance and the blown 6.
  3. Very nice build, Jan.
  4. Thanks guys. Even with the issues this kit has, I'm glad that it has been reissued. Now, if only someone would tool up an all new factory stock 70-71 Cyclone......
  5. Very sharp build. I love those Fairlanes....
  6. Finished this one up yesterday, and boy am I glad to have it off the bench. Some bent/warped parts (mainly involving the cage structure and frame) and lots of cleanup needed, then on top of that there is the fitment of parts, most of which is fairly sloppy and vague. I kind of expected that going into this build, by reading other people's building experiences with this kit. As others have noted, if you plan on building this I would strongly suggest using some decal film or clearcoating the decals before applying them as they are brittle. Speaking of decals, the 429 scripts on the hood came from the Model King re-pop of this kit. I had to fiddle around with both suspensions some to get the tires lined up in the wheelwells. In the mock-up stage I thought I had it dialed in but once it was all painted and assembled, I couldn't get the chassis to sit forward enough....come to find out the leading edge of the roll cage by the dashboard was butting up against the lower windshield, causing the whole chassis unit to be pushed back a bit. Like I said I just adjusted the suspension some to line the tires up again. But, if I were to do it again I'd try filing the leading edge of the bars down some, or mounting the whole cage unit back about an 1/8 inch or so. With all that being said, I am really pleased with how it turned out, much better than what I was expecting. If I didn't like the Cyclone, and this era of Nascar, so much, it probably would have been put back in the box for another day (or year more likely Lol). Paint is Duplicolor Arctic White and Tamiya TS-39 Mica Red. Thanks for looking and any comments or questions.
  7. x2 on this. The stance is just killer as well. Amazing build, Bruce!
  8. I'll play along. Torque Thrusts have always been my favorite aftermarket wheels. Bruce, I like all of your builds but man, that Apache is really jumping out at me, love it. The only kit I've built with a set of Pegasus (19's I believe) And the rest.....
  9. Awesome build, Ray. That's one slick Cobra, Carl is a lucky man.
  10. That poor pony, she's had a rough life. Nice work, I like it.

Looks like she's ready to lay the smackdown at the strip. Very nice work on this mean Mopar.
  12. Love the color on this, and boy is it shiny. Very cool little pickup you've built, congrats.
  13. That's a sharp build. The flipped spindles improved the stance quite a bit. Congrats!
  14. Another great build, Randy. You sure have yourself a great looking collection of Firebirds & Camaros from this generation.
  15. Beautiful restoration, Randy.
  16. Ditto what the other guys have said, she's a great looking Mustang.
  17. That is beautiful, Steve. The magnum's and RWL tires get a big thumbs up from me. Well done!
  18. Good looking build. I love these too, along with the Cutlass, my favorite GM's of the era. A few years back there was '71 Skylark for sale around here very similarly built, and shape wise, like your friends car but in a burgundy color. Had a built 455. Wish I would have pursued it.......
  19. Thanks again for those comments guys.
  20. Nice detail work, she's a looker for sure. Well done!
  21. I've always liked that shade of red and it suits the Mustang well. Nice work, Jim.
  22. Beautiful 'cuda, Fred. Those colors and the Keystones were a great choice. Well done!
  23. Clean looking build, I like it.
  24. That's a good lookin' 36. I like that color and the wide whites, great choices.
