  1. Very nice job on the weathering. I would sure like to see the look on dads face when you give it to him. Very nice job, well done. Ken.
  2. Love it. On the 1/16 scale trailer, what scale tires and rims are you using? Ken.
  3. JT, Way to cool. What kind of art are you going to put on the side of it. Ken.
  4. Thanks JT, But wait and see what I want to use for the trailer. It has taken me amost three years to build the truck. I wonder if they will let me build the trailer in the retirement home.. Ken.
  5. Charles, Very nice build. It reminds me of my grandpas old ford he had on the farm back when I was a kid. I would go with him into town with a truck load of grain. Ken.
  6. Thanks JT. I might have to talk real nice to you or buy you a case of orange paint when it comes time to build a trailer for it. Ken.
  7. Dave, to make it easy please read pages 4-6 of my post. It explains it all there. Ken.
  8. Thanks for the coments. Ken.
  9. Thanks for the coments. I finished painting the blue arcs. Well except for the right side of the hood which is being repainted. What a fun time that was!! More to come soon. Ken.
  10. It has been a while since my last post and I don't have alot to show yet, but slowly she's coming along. I've had a few set backs with some paint issues that made me have to repaint a few things more than I wanted to. I have also had a few speed bumps in life to deal with but will keep going. I have started on the strips now. The blue arcs will be painted black and only leaving a fine blue outline. The hood was almost finished when I had dripped some blue paint on the right side and trying to remove it taking the clear coat with it. Back to wet sanding and repainting it again. Should have the rest of the blue arcs painted pretty soon. Then a light coat of clear and then the black will follow. Once thats all done and a final coat of clear she should be ready to put together. Will post more soon, I hope. Thanks, Ken.
  11. William, Looking good. Don't forget to cut off the caging bolts off the brake pods. Ken.
  12. JT, Nice combo. I thought maybe you ran out of orange paint. Looks real nice. Ken.
  13. Luke, Very nice build. Ken.

  15. Very nicely done. Nice crisp mask lines. Very cool. Ken
  16. Joe, I used a small drinking straw covered with sticky back mylar. I guess BMF will work just as well. Thanks again Joe. Ken.
  17. Tim, Very nice build love the colour. Those darn rad caps. Ken.
  18. Bill, Nice looking Pete. Do you have any more pictures to show off. Ken.
  19. JT, another fine build. I don't know why people hate the T600. I like them and they are nice to drive. Ken.
  20. Thanks everyone for the comments. Ken.
  21. Does anyone think that I should paint the rims semi gloss black? Ken.
  22. Thanks everyone for the comments. The more I look at her the more I can live with the colour of the rims. Ken.
  23. I'll take two of them. I bet about 80 bucks cdn for sure. Ken.
  24. Well here are the rest of the pictures. I would really like to strip it down and redo it. Now that I have a few more models under my belt I have learned from my mistakes. It took parts from two other model kits to build this truck. The paint is just to thick and not right. At some point it will be redone when I have time. Let me know what you think. Remember it was done about 15 years ago. Thanks, Ken.
  25. This is a 56 Ford pick-up I call The Grocery Getter. I built this about 15 years ago. It was my first time painting the colour Yellow over blue. I learned that you need to prime it first or you will have to put on several unhappy coats of yellow to cover the blue. More to come. Ken.
