Charles, Very nice build. It reminds me of my grandpas old ford he had on the farm back when I was a kid. I would go with him into town with a truck load of grain. Ken.

Thanks for the coments. I finished painting the blue arcs. Well except for the right side of the hood which is being repainted. What a fun time that was!! More to come soon. Ken.

It has been a while since my last post and I don't have alot to show yet, but slowly she's coming along. I've had a few set backs with some paint issues that made me have to repaint a few things more than I wanted to. I have also had a few speed bumps in life to deal with but will keep going. I have started on the strips now. The blue arcs will be painted black and only leaving a fine blue outline. The hood was almost finished when I had dripped some blue paint on the right side and trying to remove it taking the clear coat with it. Back to wet sanding and repainting it again. Should have the rest of the blue arcs painted pretty soon. Then a light coat of clear and then the black will follow. Once thats all done and a final coat of clear she should be ready to put together. Will post more soon, I hope. Thanks, Ken.

Well here are the rest of the pictures. I would really like to strip it down and redo it. Now that I have a few more models under my belt I have learned from my mistakes. It took parts from two other model kits to build this truck. The paint is just to thick and not right. At some point it will be redone when I have time. Let me know what you think. This is a 56 Ford pick-up I call The Grocery Getter. I built this about 15 years ago. It was my first time painting the colour Yellow over blue. I learned that you need to prime it first or you will have to put on several unhappy coats of yellow to cover the blue. More to come. Ken.
