David,
Well once again very,very nice.
I think it needs.......um... or should be um.....needs um.....well how do I say this, um....It really needs to be parked in my display case.
I don't want to hear any excuses from you.
Well done again.
Ken.
Terry,
I've been watching your build as it comes along. Very nice work I must say. Your kind of like me always looking around for things you can use on a model. My wife calls me a magpie always bending over in the parking lots to pick things up. Good idea for the ram. I used different size injection needles to make an antenna for my 1/12 Camaro. Not a druggy just had a friend that worked in a lab.
Keep up the good work it's coming along real nice. Oh Love the grill.
Ken.
William,
They are both way to cool. Looks like a bit of frame sag on the W900. I had major sag on my Pete and ended up bending it to compensate for it. Good looking trucks..
Ken.
Jeff,
Wow very nice build. I not totally sold on the this is only my second truck build line that you are trying to tell us.
I really had to go back and look again. I like all the extras you put into it looks awesome.
I'm really like the colour combo as well. Very nice job well done.
Ken.
William,
Have I been living under a rock or what??? When did you build the KW? Did I miss something? Were you holding out? Where?
Old build? New build?
Very nice as always, WoW. Love it for sure.Would like to read more about her.
Ken.
Here is my 81 Camaro Z28 that I used to own for about 15 years. I ended up selling her to a guy that wanted to restore it. When he left he did a nice little second gear chirp and I never saw her again.
I miss that car, but was she ever hard on the fuel. All the pollution control junk was taken off and had a nice lumpy cam that crused along nice in 3rd gear. It was sure fast off the line but would red line at about 95 mph. It did have a 350 4 speed duel exhaust big pipes. Iscared myself a few times being young and stupid. Boy I sure miss my old car as many might relate.
I built a model of her about 11 years ago to remember the old times. The closest year I could find was a 79. I changed the hood to reflect an 81 but didn't change the vents on the fenders. Other than that I don't think there was any other changes that GM did between 79-81. The kit sure needs alot of help under the hood it was like Revell forgot all about that part of the kit. Maybe one day I will redo under the hood to make it just right. Did I say I miss my old Car.
Thanks for looking..... Did I say that I sure miss my old Car.
Ken
Andre,
Looks good black on black.
I too have the same kit built about 11 years ago after the one I owned.
I'll have to post it. They were a basic kit especially under the hood. Good job though brings back memories.
