My two cents. Depending on dimentions an end of the handle off a plastic disposable razer. Depending on the razer as well. Also I like the big fat pen idea that tapers. Ken.

Hans, I remember back as a teen driving my bosses 69 Mustang 302 when I pulled up beside an Impala 409 at a red light. It looked exactly the same as your model. At the time I thought it was grannies car, boy was I ever wrong and very embarrassed. Very nice work a real sleeper. Ken.

Franck, Kenworth looks good. One thing that I noticed is that the bolts that are sticking out of the brake pods needs to be cut off. Nice detail. Ken. -

I would be interested in super singles and the low profile if the price was right as well. Any parts for a 1/16 I would be very intersted in. Ken. -

David, I have always wanted to do a 67 vette. The trouble is that I would take the engine from a 67 vette and drop it into a 69 Camaro. If I ever get the pete done who knows. Kenny B -

David, Once again you have showen your true skills in building a very fine model. You give it your all on every build and it shows. However I never pick apart another master modelers work of art. I did notice two things you may have missed or it just doesn't show up on the pictures that I can see. Please correct me if I am wrong. One thing is the wash on the wiper grills and the other is the rubber on the wipers? I may be wrong. As always very very fine work and something that is a true masterpiece from the master himself. You truly inspire me. Tooooo Coooool Kenny B -

Mike, I like to use all Tamiya products on my models. I like the easy cleanup and no smell. Once all the body work is all done I spray Tamiya primer then wet sand it with about 1800 and look for flaws.Wash with soap and water, then repeat several times until perfect. Then I sprayed Tamiya titanium sliver mixed with some titanium gold (using an airbrush). It was lightly wet sanded with 3600 washed with soap and water and sprayed again. Wet sand again if needed. Then I spray on Tamiya clear,Wet sand lightly with 4000 washed with soap and water and spray another thicker coat. Wet sand with 4000 once more to remove any dust marks or orange peel and let sit for a couple of weeks before polishing with Maguiers car wax. Hope this helps. The important thing is to make sure that you wash it well to remove fingerprints and specks of dust. Be careful not to sand through the paint or clear coat. A dust free room is important. I made my own spray booth using a plastic tote with a small fan and a dryer hose to vent outside. It works well and is dust free. A lot of guys may not agree with all the steps I do, but it works for me and looks flawless when finished. Ken. -
1/16 Scale Peterbilt 359 Large Car

Thomas, It's an old kit and scratch built refer to page 1 for the story of how it all started. Ken. -
Wow... Thank you too all. I was suprised to see this come back up 2 years later. I had entered her in a contest about 7 months ago and won second place even though I arrived late and space was limited. I wasn't able to show her with the hood off and she was in the middle of the table. Note to self...Go early get a good spot. The orange one will be up graded a bit with hounds tooth seats. I'm thinking of photo etched emblems which then means I would have to repaint and might as well add the RS Options as well. I think that my biggest wish is to build a 427 COPO since the kit is back in production. I have no complaints about the kit its very nice to build. Thanks again for all the wonderful comments. Ken.

Okay I'll bite too. Very nice collection going on. My 69 built about five years ago. The first contest I entered it in I took second place even though I didn't get to show it with the hood open. Thanks for looking. Kenny B. -
David, Very nice clean build. Lots of detail to it. Everytime I look at it I notice something else you did.Very nice work. The glad hands look like the trailer side is attached? Ken.

Well it's been a while since my last update. The last of the rivets are put into the cab. I'm finally done with them. Total count of rivets installed is 1230. I didn't want to use the stock mirrors so I built new mirrors and new mirror arms and mounting brackets. All the body work is complete and everything gets a good coat of primer. All the parts that are to be chromed are painted gloss black and then painted with Alclad chrome. All the chrome parts are done. Getting ready to paint the rest. Thanks for the comments will post more soon. Ken. -
Has anyone ever tried spraying Alclad gloss clear coat over the black before spraying on the chrome or polished aluminum? Kenny B
