I think its a decal but i could be wrong.

Try holding your camera farther away from the part you are taking a picture of and use the zoom if you need to get closer. Don't forget to use lots of light, using the cameras flash will wash out the picture if you are too close. You should get much better pictures doing this.

That's one nice looking interior. The chrome work really takes it a step above the rest! I'm glad its going into a vert and not going to be covered up by a roof.

I can get 2 bodies out of a 3 oz can of lacquer, clear coat takes me 3 - 3 oz cans for every 2 bodies. Hobby Lobby here the spray paints are 6.29 a can and with the coupon it brings them to 4.00 with tax. If you have to drive 100 miles round trip it would be pointless to go to Hobby Lobby seeing how you can only use the coupon once a day and you would spend 20-25 bucks on fuel. Places with free shipping will be your best bet. FYI, Hobby Lobby does the 40% coupon online and sometimes has free shipping on any item or like right now its free shipping on a 40.00 or more order, this is the best way to buy models unless you score on Ebay or at a model show.

I use enamel that you can buy from any hobby store, premixed no thinning needed. Only need thinner for cleaning your brush out after use. Enamel covers better than Acrylic, or thats what ive found.

The small details add up. Looks good.

Went to Hobby Lobby and used my 40% off on a can of Ultra Gloss Clear coat and my wife used one on the Prismacolor black marker. She also spotted the other 8 cans of spray paint when walking by the clearance section. Got 2 cans of Fabric Grey, 2 cans of Camo Grey, 1 light sea grey, 1 Black cherry pearl, 1 Burgundy red and 1 Citrus yellow metallic......each can was marked down to 2.22!!!! lol On top of that she wants me to build another car for her using the Black cherry pearl, she wanted a 69 GTO so I won a kit from 1994 on Ebay for 16.00 shipped. Win win for me!! lol
