    This was my entry for the 24hr build. I modeled it after the one I used to own. Built in 21 hrs, and that even counts 6hrs sleep.?

    I have been plugging away on the Elcamino for a few months now. Last night I was using it as filler while waiting for paint to dry on the Ranchero. I mocked it up and left it for motivation. So here is the Ranchero, all finished, and even looks like the real one ! I even managed five hours sleep. ?

    Not much further. Polish out a couple fingerprints, and touch up the emblems with a little chrome. I am going to catch a few zzzz's first.

    Thanks Misha! The clear dried enough to molotow the window trim before calling it a night.

    While working on my 24hr build, the Ranchero, I managed to get the Elcamino up on four wheels and mocked up.

    10th hr. Body in clear !

    Hr eight and the interior is finished, the hood is cleared, and the chassis actually fits.

    Hour five and I am running out of parts.

    Laquer paint, and super glue. These are your friends. Hour four has a finished chassis, and starting on body paint.

    I will be joining the 24hr build this weekend with this entry. I owned a 1:1 and have been meaning to replicate it, soooooooo, here goes. Really glad it is a simple kit.

    Thanks Brian. I need to get another one of these trailers, they go together really easy, and now I know what to do different on the next one. lol

    Dan, you are correct....I was not thinking about the exhaust at all. So we keep it as is.

    So what do you think. Shorten the frame a tick, or leave it alone?

    They look good Bill. I think I have the trailer all wrapped up. Now I can start checking clearance on the cab...
