  1. That is one wicked looking t-bird !! ?
  2. The only station wagon Cadillac ever made. ? I really like this and might have to find me one of these.
  3. Whichever way you go, it will turn out awesome. By the way, love your avatar! ?
  4. That one sweet looking truck. Love the color also.
  5. Un.......believable!!! You are just plain nuts, no wonder the squirrels like you so much. Go Bill's!!!
  6. That engine is a model in its own right.
  7. Thanks for that Dan. Looks like I should just build the trailer first.
  8. So after mocking up everything. Cab is on the frame where the instructions recommend, pin on the trailer is centered in between the axles. Looks like 3.25 . So maybe take out two inches?
  9. Thanks Jeff. Say, what paint did you use on the cab?
  10. So figure this out. Over a month ago I submitted an Amazon order and added a bottle of Tamiya paint to bring my order to the free shipping minimum, and yes, it showed the item as "in stock". It didn't give me free shipping but I ordered it anyway. I then proceeded to forget about it. Today I received a package in the mail that I could not figure out what I ordered from that particular country. Tamiya paint is made in Japan, distributed through Tamiya America, Irvine California. Yet the package was shipped directly to me from New Taipei, Taiwan...
  11. That is a great idea, and beautiful execution.
  12. WoW! Thanks guys! I have not even looked online for reference material yet.
  13. Finally decided to go with this. I received the cab in a trade with Jeff, and he said it was designed for a Titan chassis. (little does he know how many questions he is in for ?) So here is the starting point. The rest of the chassis will come from the parts box. First question. The Titan had a sleeper, this obviously does not. I personally think the truck would look better if I shortened the frame. Since I have not altered a frame on one of these, where should I take the section out, and how much should I take out. TIA
  14. Taping things together to get an idea of what direction to take. If I can remove the hood bulge, I think the driver can see over the cowl. Tinted windows is a must. Not sure what to do with that Shelby valance. Maybe suck it up tight to the body... Hey, can a guy change his mind?
  15. Great album, and a great build! Send me your address, I am sure I have the headlight lenses. Oh, throw a tarp over over it, and send a pic to their website /Facebook/ Twitter, just like you have it with the album cover.
  16. Oh wow ! That is awesome! I can hardly wait until you get the load tied down and the final touches added.
  17. That is a good looking diecast. I have a question though, is red the new orange? ?
  18. I have the steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps and tires from the other issue if you want to trade wheels and tires.
  19. WoW! I haven't even started prep yet. Great job to all who jumped right in.
  20. You made my day! I am printing that out and putting it on the fridge, just so I can show my wife and say "SEE!!", somebody agrees with me. ? Yeah, we sold our '30 pickup when I was about 17. Been a day or two ago, but I still have pics.?
  21. If you want to build the one in the picture, the Revell '29 is the wrong kit. Ford changed their body in 1930. The 30-31 are the same body, and the 34 body is close. Use the 34 cab with the windshield/cowl assembly from the woody. The wheels pictured look like they are from a 32 or later Ford. You should be able to source them from any of the AMT 32 Ford models.
