  1. This should be a real interesting build Jeff.
  2. Thanks for the pic Tommy iknow, but unfortunately the interior has been finished for awhile now.
  3. I really like it now. Better visualization and it sits just right.
  4. I do remember the author/builder remarking on how people would think him crazy to build such a rare kit like he did. I do not remember it being on the cover, but there was an article.
  5. Can't resist looking at log trucks, and yours is well worth the look. Beautiful color combo, and it looks like it is ready for the summer festival parade.
  6. WoW Brian, that is awesome. A good old workhorse.
  7. Thanks guys, it's really starting to come together. I even have the cars picked out for the trailer.
  8. I have been working on this GMC Crackerbox resin cab for the BRBO and car hauler. I have the trailer finished and am working on the truck. I had to do a mock up of the two.
  9. I still have the stock rear wishbone from that coupe you sent me if that will work for you.
  10. Thanks JT. I could not resist this mockup.
  11. Many years ago in one of the main car model magazines was an article about a Pro Street 1966 Johan Marlin build. I searched the web but could not find it. If anyone here can point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated. Thanks
  12. I know I would be interested in this sedan, and the wagon, possibly the stude as well.
  13. Looks awesome! Drill holes and all.?
  14. I would appreciate that grille. I do have everything for the car, including the bumper/grille but It would look better with a separate piece. I knew you guys could sort this thing out. I would like to put the wheel wells back to original, and Tom offered me a nice Ranchero body, but just can't make myself cut it up. If someone has a really trashed one, let me know please. I can use the b-pillar to make it a sedan again as well.
  15. I picked up this 1960 Falcon years ago and now that I have the Ranchero and sedan delivery finished, its time to build this one. I found it painted an ugly brown. After days in the purple pond the brown came off easy but under it was another layer of black, and the original painter sanded the body with what looks like 220 grit before painting it black. The brown paint was so heavy that I never even knew what lay beneath. This is the intriguing thing. I am almost 100% positive that this is a promotional. It has all the little sales pitches on the bottom of the one piece chassis. It is also a curbside model. BUT! ...it is a hardtop. What I originally ass-u-med as someone cutting the b-pillar out to make look like a hardtop is in fact factory molded. Has anyone ever seen this before? We all know that the first Falcon hardtop was 1963.5....so what exactly is this. By the way, if anyone wants to cast the 1960 grill, I would be more than willing to compensate. Also, if someone has an absolutely trashed '61 Ranchero, I need the factory rear quarter panels so I can replace the hogged out wheel openings.
  16. I purchased this Jimmy Flintstone delivery a couple of years ago, and while I have used resin parts and pieces in the past, I felt a complete body a little intimidating. After building the Falcon sedan delivery I am now a little less intimidated. I used a lot from the parts box, and found out I could use more parts...I am ordering a few more bodies now. (If anyone has any build ups, partial built, or bags of parts they want to trade off, let me know) So here I am with a clean body, chassis with what looks like a camaro front clip already installed, and what I think I will need in parts. I have a few pieces soaking in the purple pond also. I am currently figuring out a floor for the bed, and will start with a stepside bed floor....to begin with. I am also not completely sure of wheel/ tire combo yet. The ones on the pic came with the chassis.
  17. Always happy with my trades with you....even when I want something back ? Great transaction with Oldcarfan27 Big shout out to RancheroSteve!
  18. Awesome! Everything is spot on and the interior is great. So, are you in for the next BRBO?
  19. Excellent outcome, and I LOVE the paint!
  20. Gorgeous Pontiac! Now, about the boat tail Riv in the background. Do you want to get rid of it?
  21. For years I have been trying to make up my mind on buying one of these. After following your build I am definitely getting one now. Great job !
  22. Great combination you have there. It's going to look great when it is finished.
