  1. I can't say that I ever wanted one. I remeber the mid 70's well. It was a horrible time for the automakers and the consumer. All the gummint regs and poor quality. Those big,I-beam bumpers didn't help the looks. I went to technical school from 70 to 72 and half of that time I had to ride in the back of a Gremlin. No fun.
  2. Wow,That kit came out when I was about 5 years old. I was thinking about cutting the lower part and just move it back to where it's supposed to be instaed of trying to fix the vertical lines of the door.
  3. My apo;ogies, guys. Yes,it's the Revell reissue from a few years back. And here's a picture. This is with the front of the upper and lower parts of body lined up straight. Or does it get staggered a little when the front bumper is in place? I haven't tried that yet. Thanks again.
  4. Will it have the step down platform and rear fender skirts? Dang! I had my hopes up there for a while....
  5. I'm not sure,but I'm guessing an MPC Corvette. 70's?
  6. I did a search, but didn't find what I was looking for. Is it me or are the door lines on the bottom part of the body too far forward? What is the easiest fix? I thought about cutting the panel with the lines and moving it forward. Sorry if this has been posted before. Thanks
  7. I don't really care for it. It wouldn't be enough of a truck to haul anything more than some groceries. Maybe they could make a station wagon out of it. Oh,that's been tried, too.
  8. I read thos from cover to cover back in the mid 60's. Very cool cover.
  9. Isn't that a greyhound? And yes,it is cool,,
  10. I use Firefox with no issues.
  11. I rightt-click on the IMG code - second from bottom below the picture you like. Hit 'copy',come here to this site and where you want the picture to be,right- click and hit 'paste'. The IMG code will show up on your post. When you are ready, hit 'POST' on the lower right and ther it is.
  12. That way they know who you are and where you live....
  13. The model on the reissue box shows the white fading back farther with no gold. Either way,it looks better without 'Plymouth' plastered on there 4 times... Yes,we know what it is. Speaking of hokey, I love the movie posters. Annette.
  14. That's true with a lot of movies. But I like them anyway.
  15. LOL True. I like the fade paine scheme better than the one that was restored. it looks like they just masked off the front clip.
  16. Thanks,Tom. nice to know it's still around. I had the model many years ago. Pretty basic kit,but not bad.
  17. I've never seen one before. What is it? It looks like a distoryed Meyers Manx.
  18. And where did he keep the spare parts, luggage, etc? I know , I know...
  19. I was just watching the movie,Fireball 500. Mostly because Annette was in it, and the cars. In the opening scenes he's driving the Fireball 500 car, which is basically a Barracuda, right? But it's towing a race car on a trailer behind it. Is that even possible? I know it wouldn't be recommended. Was the race car just a shell? I know,it's just a movie.....
  20. I like that!
  21. Has anyone seen my hoverboard? I seem to have misplaed it.
  22. Ones that have never been reissued- SMP/AMT 1961 Chevy Pickup AMT 1961 Ford pickup AMT 1963 Ford Galxie convertible Monogram Futurista - reissued once in '67 Monogram PE62 1/8th Chevy V8 engine kit One that shouldn't have been brought back is the Revell Gypsy Moth dune buggy
  23. I used Testor's paints for years, but now I buy mostly Tamiya. Testor's spray can were OK when you first used them, but it seemed like the emptier the cab got,the worse it sprayed. Tamiya seem the same from start to that last bit of paint. If I use Testor's now,I usually spray some in a cup, thin it a little and use my air brush. Just my preference.
  24. Ron Cash made these 2 sets of older truck wheels. The bigger tire is from almost any AMT big rig. Where did he get the smaller tire? It measures 1-3/8" dia. ,by 5/16" wide. The center hole is maybe 3/4" Any ideas? Thanks!
