  1. Just finishing touches left on my Mopar! Cheers!
  2. Wiring finished.. Not great, but looks good enough to me, and it was my first time! Cheers!
  3. Personally I'd like to see an Opel Manta 400, a Reliant Scimitar GTE and a good Land Rover Defender but hey that's just me..
  4. My God, Revell/AMT, whatever you were smoking... Keep it to yourself.
  5. I agree with you 100%. If we aren't given a little criticism once in a while, we'll never see need to change, for the better. I was on another forum before this one, and they were great at criticism - they were always nice about it, and if it wasn't for that, I would be nowhere near where I am today. My Da always says, "no matter how good you are (or think you are), there always someone out there better - and from them, we learn." I'd rather get criticisms for my build - if no-one criticises me, you'll never strive to improve. That's what's always motivated me at this - wanting to build something that nobody had anything bad to say about.
  6. Always had a passion for cars. Since I was around 3 years old. Always loved video games but they became a bit.. Lacklustre. Met a girl, fell in love, things didn't quite work out.. Needed something to get my mind off it. And fast. My Da always built models, as did my oldest brother, so I grabbed an old Tamiya Calsonic R32 Skyline, been hooked since. Still have it.
  7. Bout time they changed those stupid break lights. I actually like the new Camaro now after these changes. Still a Shelby man though!
  8. Yeeeeah after a week of trying I gave up on that idea. I've some spare engines to try and do that stuff on, I don't wanna ruin this one while practicing! Thanks though I wish I hadda thought of this sooner, but I'd love to have made a '68 1/2 Charger, with the rear end from a '69. As I prefer the front of the '68 but the rear of the '69. If I ever get this kit again (which I might, it's a lovely kit and I never tire of the '68/'69s) I'll ask around in the trade section. Do you think it'd be a direct fit?
  9. Yeah Troy, I find it's very hit and miss.. It's the one time while modelling that I turn the music off! Thanks Jason, I was thinking about that.. I'd be afraid of messing up so I might just do light accents of black. I ordered mine off eBay, I'm in the UK though so I'm sure there's people doing them in the US! Cheers!
  10. Thanks Troy, that really means a lot! For raised lettering I used a toothpick, and sharpened the end of it with a blade to a very fine point, and dipped the very end point of it with Tamiya X-11 Chrome Silver paint and went over the lettering that was raised. Cheers!
  11. Thanks everyone! Those Mopars look great Damian, they'll certainly be giving me inspiration for future builds Cheers!
  12. Looks amazing, keep it up.
  13. Okay, done a fair amount of work today. Put the engine in, and the glass. Drilled holes and ordered a wired distributor, should arrive soon. Finished the wheels. Finished the rear end. Finished the interior. Mocked up the car - Just suspension and detailing to go. Cheers!
  14. Me in Belfast last year, my hair's a bit shorter now.
  15. Sabotage is a great album, I love drumming to Symptom of the Universe! I'm a big Sabbath head, Vol.4 is my favourite but Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is a close second.. There's too much filler on Master of Reality for me and don't even get me started on Dio, I don't consider that sabbath Eh.. Syd's time was a bit... Well it was a biiiit mental for my liking. I tend to like from Dark Side to the Wall and in between, but I never cared much for animals really.. It's good and all but it's just not my favourite. I'm pretty fond of A Momentary Lapse of Reason, too. Cheers!
  16. Looks great, far more aggressive than the road version I have anyway!
  17. After a short hiatus of waiting until I was inspired to work again (I mess things up if I'm not in the mood, so I try not to force myself to work.. I also got a new TV so gaming has been my priority!), I finally got in the mood to work on this. So I stuck on this beautiful piece of work... And got painting! Only a short update, but I'm waiting till I feel brave enough to go at wiring my 426 Hemi. I also picked the wheels I'll be using.. Just need to paint those backs black More updates to come, I'm off school for Easter now, plenty of me-time! Cheers!
  18. Thank you, that really means a lot!
  19. Yeah... You're crazy.
  20. Cheers! Got her all chromed up - I think I'm finally getting the hang of BMF! I'm loving how sharp it's looking. Cheers!
  21. Cheers Geoff! I wish.. I just hit it lucky sometimes!
