How do I order?
-
Where did you source those cheater slicks? I've been looking for something like those for an upcoming build.

I was at this event myself for the first time & the Bugatti's were incredible. The show downtown was similar to weekends at my home track-Road America. They do 2 nights. Friday is for race cars driven to town on public roads. The second night is for street cars all at Seibkens resort & the Osthoff. The Glen was always a bucket list thing for me & I finally did it. Maybe Mid Ohio next.

Saw one of these last weekend at Watkins Glen vintage event. Gorgeous machine. Black & orange.

How do I remove glue smudge from windshield?

Why would you continue assembling it if you knew there was a flaw in the windshield that you had to get at? -

1946 Dodge Power Wagon
Old Nasty replied to Paul Payne's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
If that box is filled anything like my 1:1 in the garage it would weigh about 1000 lbs. Not anywhere close to a spare wheel & tire. Not to mention it would be top heavy. That's why you never see a set up like this in real life. -

Fully loaded, that tool box would be an anchor on one side of the truck. Not very maneuverable & quite dangerous to drive. Just sayin. -
I've owned & flipped many cool cars over the years. but at 70 years old I think I have finally found my "keeper". '68 barracuda notchback with a "built" 340 good for 400+ HP @3000 lbs that I have been slowly returning to a period correct day 2 street racer. Spring shackles & an ass up attitude will complete the look. MOPAR or no car. =

must be some kind of anti theft device to put your plug wires in your pocket.

No plug wires on the car on the right.

Revell Germany. 1/24 scale. I'm building it now. Nice kit. -

I've been a Mopar guy since I was a kid & the '70 Coronet is the prettiest "B" body car they ever produced. The curvaceous lines & the lack of a front bumper are without parallel in muscle car design. It just looks the part.

I tried good old fashioned fluoride tooth paste. Although not perfect, it's much better than it was. Thanx to all for your suggestions. I always prefer the simplest solutions.

I thought of that but wasn't sure.

This has probably been covered before but I can't find it. I'm currently working on a vintage ('93) kit I found on Ebay that was pretty much in tact. The window glass was tightly wrapped in some sort of cellophane. Upon unwrapping it there remained some sort of impression in the plastic that won't wash off. I've tried washing it off with mild soap but it's still cloudy with whatever residue came from the wrapping. My question is can this be polished or buffed out? What should I use to get nice clear plastic without this cloudiness? Thanks in advance for any responses.

New Policy Regarding Inappropriate Posts
Old Nasty replied to Dave Ambrose's topic in How To Use This Board
Enuf is enuf. Isn't this site about model cars & not political correctness? I'm getting worn out reading all this back & forth. Lets concentrate on the models & stop bickering like little school children. Cheeez -
Only you will know.
