  1. Those are super cool. I'd like them with their decals. Maybe Atlantis will dig these up from the molds if they still exist.
  2. Thanks, as long as the fits and manuals are at least 'OK' then it won't be an issue. It's when the instructions and the parts themselves are vague that it takes a long time to get it together. Once you've assembled five piece track links plus pins for an entire tank in 1/35 scale anything else isn't all that bad. LOL
  3. Has anyone on here built the kit? Is it more or less challenging than the AMT wrecker? Meaning, vague part locations, etc.? Curious, thanks!
  4. I did my usual full video but I don't like to promote my stuff on others websites without an invite to. It's on my channel though.
  5. China is a gigantic country, one place may be open while 500 miles away one may be shut down to be cleaned. Same as the US.
  6. Building two kits per week, for the past half dozen years or so, I have only seen the same kit come back out a few times, so yup, you're spot on with that. R2 and now even Revell USA has been digging into their archives and finding/issuing kits that people haven't seen in 20-40+ years. It's pretty cool.
  7. www.modelroundup.com They also advertise in this magazine if you get the print edition.
  8. Personal friend made them, to copy our local Hwy Dept since my Dad retired from there years back. Couldn't find a decal maker otherwise.
  9. OR, don't make claims about being always polite if you aren't. You guys about done being insulted by science and going off the rails about it?
  10. Yeah, you're a saint. You never start a fight on here and insult people for no reason what so ever and then have to apologize later......
  11. I never called anyone stupid. Do you know the difference between ignorance and stupidity? Being ignorant of a subject does not mean you are stupid. People talk about facts and science and you instantly think they are implying you are stupid out of nowhere.... A really odd reaction. ig·no·rant lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about a particular thing. stu·pid having or showing a great lack of intelligence or common sense.
  12. Facts and science do matter. This is the third time you've gone out of your way to insult me just because you don't know something and you take people using facts and science as an insult to you personally.. Maybe it would be better if you just used the ignore button on my profile if facts and real science upset you that much. Ok? Thanks.
  13. Old decals scare me. Rarely use them, I've noticed some recent decals from some kits will crack as well, not dissolve, but crack, for no apparent reason. I've mentioned it and also mentioned it to them as well, and sent pics of it. I'm wondering if it's the high tropical humidity in the countries they are being made in slightly activating them before they are packed into the plastic wrap? The ones from places like Italy or Russia that don't have that oppressive humidity don't seem to have the issue like Asian printed kits do. But just a spit ball in the wind. Thanks for the nice comment about the 69!
  14. You cannot catch a virus because some Chinese guy packed a trailer and stuck it on a boat. IF (big if) you ordered an overnight package from China and a sick guy coughed phlegm inside the package, sealed it, and kept it near body temp for the entire trip and you opened it and licked it, maybe. And the risk of that is so low it's not even worth considering.
  15. Mine will be here Monday and my custom decals for the Hwy Dept are already here. Looking forward to it!
  16. I love those Dart Board decals, can't wait to make it with those.
  17. ^ 100% accurate.
  18. The Coronavirus cannot survive weeks on a ship stuck to a hockey stick or a chin strap or in bubble wrap. This is all ignorant fear mongering by those that never paid attention in science class. https://www.nhs.uk/common-health-questions/infections/how-long-do-bacteria-and-viruses-live-outside-the-body/ The issue with kit shipments may happen, but the rest is simply not going to happen.
  19. I have copies of the 29 and Jeep Rubicon right now and have been given clearance to build the 29 and make the video public (it's a 2n1 and will be getting two seperate videos as each one), but have to wait to issue the video on the Jeep until they say so. They both look great. We'll see soon enough what is all new in each.
  20. Yup, there are so many thousands of kits out there waiting to be reissued that no one could have ever built them all. And it's nice to see kits that are out of reach for builders that don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a 'rare' kit come back at retail prices and actually assemble it. It's doubtful their market is people who already own 5 kits of a reissue, rarely build anything, and feel the need to say 'yawn' at every monthly video. It's those if us who want to build kits and enjoy the nostalgia and appreciate the added details, decals, parts, etc they almost always add into kits.
  21. What's really odd isn't the fact that Revell and R2 aren't telling everyone their future business plans, that seems pretty normal and smart on their parts. The more odd thing is that there are adults who read the name Round2Models and then complain endlessly that they aren't constantly releasing lots of newly tooled models..... Think about that. Do the same peeps also go to antique stores and ask where all the new stuff is?
  22. Or like an '86 Berlinetta(sp) 2.8 Auto all rotted out under the doors, hatch held down with a bungee, dragging it's massive 40 pound catalytic converter down the road, sparking on every bump. LOLOLOLOL
