  1. Thanks Danny. Spoke with Mr. Bradford (HRM) yesterday - he is going to add the 911R headers as a stand alone item to his catalog.
  2. Nice work Bruce.
  3. I modify everything David.
  4. Welcome Tommy. Love the RS1800. I've built this kit so if you have any questions I would be happy to help.
  5. The 911R that set the World Endurance Record would be an interesting build. The car was required to carry on board all the spare parts it intended to need. Porsche did several things to lighten the "R" including a fiberglass hood, you can see it deflecting in the photo from the aerodynamic load. https://christophorus.porsche.com/en/2017/383/911-r-autodromo-nazionale-monza-long-distance-world-record.html I have an early 911 project planned but it's not the BP sponsored car.
  6. Thanks Scott. No plans to cast the SCRS wings. All other wings shown are either Fujimi kit parts or resin parts already available.
  7. The headers are included in HRM's Porsche IROC trans-kit. Contact HRM to ask if he will sell the headers separately - I assume he would. Thanks Bruce & Jonathan.
  8. I suspect the aftermarket will setup with a few decal variants for Beemax's K2.
  9. Headers are HRM's resin copies of the 911R kit headers cast as 1-piece , added a PE flange and tail piece. The muffler is the Fujimi part modified to replicate the rally muffler.
  10. Not a muscle bike but it is vintage. All original '65(?) Schwinn Twinn. Looking to pass it along if anyone is interested. http://public.fotki.com/steelers43/schwinn-twinn/dscn1359.html
  11. Growing up in a small town only myself and one friend built models so it was a pretty solitary hobby for me for most of my life. It's nice now to belong to a club and have on-line forums to share ideas and information back and forth. Glad too Dann you decided to share your WIPs, they inspire and help us all be better builders.
  12. Nice start Danny.
  13. Nice save Ty. FYI: the kit represents a genuine 427 Cobra not a kit car/replica.
  14. Thanks Jason. Singer use a Porsche 964 as a platform for their conversions. Google Porsche engine and/or Porsche wiring diagrams and you should find what you need. The rear wheels are Ronal Turbos from Renaissance.
  15. One of my favorite scribes, cut the head of a straight pin of the correct diameter and it slips right in.

I have the un-painted aluminum car as well Ray.
  17. Thanks Dann. Modified the kit Bosch fuel injector pump to more closely resemble the unit used on the SCRS. The unit will be mostly obscured under the air cleaner so didn’t see the need to super detail it but it will be plumbed. For those that may be so inclined here is the 1:1. Most race cars ran twin plugs per cylinder and dual coils, yep (14) wires coming out of the distributor. Thankfully the SCRS ran only single plug/coil. The pre-drilled distributor is from R&M. Fabricated a retention ring for the air cleaner screen.
  18. Some good information here for those less familiar with 911s.
  19. This is why they need the skid plates.
