  1. Thanks Joe and Niko, for backing up my story. Of course a gasser wouldn't run a stock fuel tank. However I wanted to add a filler cap at the rear for additional interest. Did some wheel detailing: spayed the fronts with Tamiya Smoke to tone them down, sprayed the our rims at the rear with Tamiya Silver Leaf and detailed the lug nuts.

Thanks Dann. I'll check out those parts Shay-thanks. When raced a radiator shroud was often installed to reduce lift caused by air entering the enormous grille opening. There were many different designs for the shroud and the stock grille may or may not be in place.
  3. Paint and decals look good.

I'll rub it out some Shay, I don't typically clear my builds. Your welcome David, please post your WIP when it gets underway.

Yea Craig I would like to get the gasser wrapped up before I dive back into this one. I also have a handful of other builds in various stages of construction that I really need to finish!

The decals are impressive. No they didn't use my parts for the resin hood & spoiler David but they look to be based on the same Revellogram kit I sourced mine from.

I want to build a 2nd car and would like it to be Zephyr powered, any suggestions on what might be a could basis to create this engine?
  9. Thank you. The build is intended to be a mid-to-late '60s racer so let's call it a "custom" hood scoop.
  10. Great box art!

A friend made a beautiful brass master of the grille which HRM was able to resin cast, so this project should be back on the workbench soon!
  14. Thanks Andy. I would have preferred no scoop but couldn't make that work.
  15. Stolen from Casey's kit review website it does indeed look like the '58 Impala kit is the source.
  16. Very nice Adriano. The Stratos is one of my favorite rally cars.
  17. I really like these but don't know the kit source.
  18. Nice work George.
  19. Fireball Modelwerks Mopar Steelies with Plymouth caps.
