Thanks Maxx. Wheels installed. I decided to use the Revellogram 427 Cobra knock-offs. They look great once you strip off the useless chrome plating.

I though Debbie Harry was a clever one.

Monogram released this excellent 289 Cobra in 1/43rd scale. It baffles me why they never scaled it up to 1/25 or 1/24 scale.

Sorry to hear you lost the desire to build Ray. No need to give up the hobby though, just take break. Like most of us I stopped building once I got into high school and didn't start up again until I was in my 30s. You can still enjoy the hobby even without building.

Thanks Bill. Five FIA Roadster where built. Each carried a different color nose stripe to help the team identify the cars. 2259 – white (heavily damaged in crash at Sebring ’64 and was scrapped) 2260 – yellow 2301 – maroon 2323 – orange 2345 – white (completed after 2259 was scrapped therefore white stripe reassigned) Even though the Scale Coachwork decals are 1/24 scale I think they fit just fine.

This was an informative thread until the April Fools prank.

IndyCar’s latest concept images for 2018 Samuel Reiman @samuelreiman Mar 31, 2017 at 1:58p ET 2018 IndyCar Series car INDYCAR released two computer-generated images of the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series car design on Friday. The design is for a universal aero kit that will attach to the Dallara IR-12 chassis and will be used by each team in 2018. Verizon IndyCar Series Work in progress INDYCAR notes that the final look of the kit may vary from the current look given in the concept images. INDYCAR adds that its goals are “to create a bolder, more traditional-looking Indy car that produces most of its downforce from underneath to promote more passing opportunities, while at the same time adding numerous safety enhancements.”
