More engine bay work. Added kicker bars down to the front suspension pickup points and flanges along the inner fenders to support the hood.

The 260/289 in the AMT Cobra is pretty narrow.

The Howmet Turbine competed in the '68 LeMans 24. Otaki did the Toyota 7.

Maybe they could come up with a new designation like MCM Savant.

Thanks again gentlemen, for the interest. Haven't had much bench time lately so not much of an update. Boxed in the dash to create a fire wall, fabricated/modified the radiator shroud and scrounged up some brake rotors.

There are dozens of kits if you include all scales. The GT40 and decedents didn't run in the Can-Am series. Don't believe the Scarabs did either at least not at the sharp end of the grid. I suspect you are interested in Sports Car racing kits in general in lieu of the Can-Am series specifically. The Canadian-American Challenge Cup or Can-Am, was an SCCA/CASC sports car racing series from 1966 to 1987. Volki did a Porsche 914/6GT kit. I looked long and hard and never found one. I was willing to pay significant money for one if I did. Glad I didn't now and chose to make my own.

No it's not the J-Car. But I agree the back end of the white car doesn't look like a Mark IV.

Nice work on the louvers. Haven't tried to build one of these kits yet but the louvers look very intimidating.
