  1. Keep bring your ideas Bill.
  2. Finally locked in the position of the rear axle and installed locating pins. Pulled it forward slightly to get the correct wheelbase. This will be the final stance.
  3. Very nice. I really hope they re-issue this kit.
  4. Fabricated an air dam.The rain gutter at the roof were poorly formed so I replaced them with some .020 rod.
  5. Let's turn this around - have you ever checked someone else's build to verify the firing order was correct? "That could have been a nice build - too bad the firing order was wrong"
  6. Good looking project.
  7. Second Circuit denies Brady request for new hearing Posted by Josh Alper on July 13, 2016, 9:51 AM EDT Getty ImagesThe likelihood that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will miss the first four games of the regular season went up on Wednesday. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has denied Brady’s request for a rehearing of the appeal that reinstated the four-game suspension he received from the league. Brady’s suspension had originally been overturned by U.S. District Court Judge Richard Berman last year, allowing Brady to play for the entire 2015 season. The announcement from the Second Circuit notes that they have denied both Brady’s request to have the appeal reheard by a three-judge panel of judges and to have it heard by the full court. That leaves an appeal to the Supreme Court as the last legal lifeline left for Brady to get the suspension overturned and indications throughout the process from Brady and the NFLPA have been that they will exhaust every option available on that front. Should Brady remain suspended, he will miss the season opener at Arizona and then three home games against the Dolphins, Texans and Bills. Jimmy Garoppolo would be the starter for those games in Brady’s absence.
  8. Bill you can delete the multiple posts yourself. Near the upper right there is a drop down menu "Moderation Actions" click on it and select "Delete".
  9. Not the easiest kit to build, you're doing some good work here Joe.
  10. Very nice Marcos.
  11. Not a big fan of the modern cars but these look great.
  12. Very impressive build.
  13. The very well could be wide enough Steven but I suspect the side walls would be too tall. I have some of these kits and will check it out. Thanks for the suggestion. The tires I am currently using have a recess on the inside. I made an insert out of business card stock and fit it into the recess. This increased the outside diameter of the tire by about 0.5mm (0.5 scale inches). Doesn't sound like much but I think it improved the look. I may try a wrap of masking tape around the wheels as well.
  14. It's coming along Kerry.
  15. Thanks Dann. Yea Randy I think I like this stance.
  16. Here is a link to pictures of the kit from another forum. http://race-car-models.proboards.com/thread/587/dekon-monza?page=1&scrollTo=3598
  17. Excellent.
  18. I like to use Dremel ball bits for large diameter holes. Mount them in a pine vise or just turn them with your fingers. Do not use a motor tool! I also use them to put a little chamfer around a smaller hole.
  19. Turned our great Dennis - nice work.
  20. Due to challenges of casting my body and with the M&S Hobbies kit already in the works we agreed that this wouldn't be the best trans-kit choice. However I am happy to help anyone that wants to build there own version.
  21. Thanks guys for the continued interest. The height of the tires was pointed out by another member as well Shay and I do agree the tires are not quite as tall as I would like. The car ran 15" wheels all around with 12" wide tires in front and 17" wide at the rear. Finding a scale 15" x 17" tire that doesn't have a massive side wall has been difficult. The 1:1 tires were pretty low profile so I don't think my current tires are far off. If I can come up with something better I'll change them out. Dimensions Weight 1,090 kilo / 2,403 lbs Length / Width / Height 4,554 mm (179.3 in) / 1,867 mm (73.5 in) / 1,217 mm (47.9 in) Wheelbase / Track (fr/r) 2,464 mm (97 in) / 1,473 mm (58 in) / 1,435 mm (56.5 in) Fuel tank 120 Litre (31.7 Gallon US / 26.4 Gallon Imperial) Wheels (fr/r) 12 x 15 / 17 x 15 Tyres (fr/r) 24.5/11 - 15 / 25.0/13.0 - 15
  22. Nice to see you back working on this.
  23. Added the side spoiler to the rear fenders. Still shaping the hood scope so it is not attached. This should be the final stance. Click on the picture to see it full size.
