  1. Couldn't find the Toronado instructions but here is the Cadillac Eldorado sheet. Looks like it.
  2. Thanks gentlemen. Any idea what the part is to the left on the intake manifold? Looks like a fluid container with a guard around it.

    My old Celica

    Nice Ray, love the wheels.
  4. I'll show it to Mr. Bradford. It will be up to him whether he wants to cast it or not.
  5. Got this in a grab bag lot several years ago. Any one recognize what engine it might be or what kit it might be from? Pretty sure it is from an old kit as all the other stuff in the lot was vintage.
  6. My goal starting this project was to build El Cid. I created the hardtop based on photos of the restored car and in line with what the factory car used. While I am happy with that current hardtop it is not correct for the style El Cid originally ran. So I started over with the hardtop from the Monogram/Revell “Baldwin Motion” 427. Again I sectioned it down the middle and reshaped it to fit the AMT body.
  7. Thanks for the suggestion Dann. I made the toggle switches on the dash with this very method.
  8. Here is the R&M set. I think I will go with the one I modified.
  9. Some of the Japanese manufactures have issued Touring Car kits for the various series. The TC cars are similar to T/A cars. They may interest you.
  10. Also had the T/A Camaros.
  11. Sadly the Trans Am series of any era has received very little attention from the model manufacturers. No modern T/A kits that I am aware of but as you mention that doesn't mean you can't build one.
  12. Nice build. There are so many great vintage race cars in 1/43 scale. I wish even a significant fraction of them were avail in 1/24 scale.
  13. What can I offer you in trade for that one?
  14. The light gray(?) one 2nd from the right. Any idea what kit that is from?
  15. Reports claiming Michael Schumacher can walk again are 'not true'Michael Schumacher's manager says recent reports the seven-time world champion is walking again are "not true", adding that they are "irresponsible" and give "false hope" to his fans. Very few updates on Schumacher's condition have emerged in the past year, but this week German magazine Bunte published an article saying the ex-F1 driver was walking with the help of therapists and can raise an arm. However, his manager Sabine Kehm says the reports are not based on facts and asked the media to avoid speculation on Schumacher's condition. "Unfortunately, we are forced by a recent press report to clarify that the assertion that Michael could move again is not true," Kehm said in a statement issued to media. "Such speculation is irresponsible, because given the seriousness of his injuries, his privacy is very important for Michael. Unfortunately they also give false hopes to many involved people." Schumacher suffered severe head injuries following a skiing accident two years ago in France. He has been receiving rehabilitation treatment in his home since June last year, but few updates have been released in order to protect his privacy.
  16. This system intrigues me and looks very simple.
  17. Thanks Pat. Here are some slightly different styles.
  18. Jim, any chance you could post a picture of it? I made this one last night. Cut it down from the Revell 427.
  19. Nice start.
  20. Anyone aware of a source (kit or after-market) for this manifold? Went through my stash and came up empty.
  21. I wouldn't dismiss a 1/24 scale 429 until you've tried it for fit. I have successfully used 1/24 scale engines on 1/25 scale projects. The Monogram/Revell 429 in the '70 Mustang kit looks pretty good to me.
  22. Turned out great Ron.
