  1. Thanks Gene. I haven't fully settled on an exact car yet. Pretty sure it will be a '64 car in Princess (Viking) Blue. I have the Scale Coachwork decal sheet so I do have some options.
  2. Prime coat.
  3. For those that missed the end (like me) here is the final 4-hours.
  4. Awesome thank you for the link. I just can't understand why this race doesn't garner more international attention.
  5. I really like short stories. Thanks for posting it.
  6. Quick mockup.
  7. Engine and wheels/tires for this project.
  8. Nice save Chris. The wheels and tires are particularly nice.
  9. By the way Happy Birthday Dale.
  10. The Ford GT was fast at Daytona. I hope they sort out the gremlins and it is more durable at Sebring all in preparation for LeMan.
  11. Your right Steve, Ken Miles went onto create the Flip Top car using this chassis. However it appears to me the builder was attempting to recreate 2196 as it appeared at Sebring in '64. Here is the same chassis after the Flip Top conversion at Nassau later in the year.

    Dodge Charger

Followed your build James, the car turned out great.
  13. Nice work thus far.
  14. Same here Ken (Kennyboy) enjoyed trading with you too.
  15. Very nice Tom. Police cars have always fascinated me but I have never tried to build one. Did the "shark fin" light up or exactly what was its function on the 1:1 car?
  16. I have contemplated building this car but that's not my project.
  17. Health of Michael Schumacher "is not good" says Luca di Montezemolo Thursday, February 4th 2016, 18:22 GMT Former Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo says the latest news about the health of seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher "is not good". It is more than two years since Schumacher sustained severe brain injuries following a skiing accident in the French Alps. "I have news and unfortunately it is not good," Montezemolo told reporters but did not elaborate. "Life is strange. He was a fantastic driver and only had one accident with Ferrari in 1999." Last October, FIA president and close family friend Jean Todt said Schumacher "is still fighting". The German spent a number of months in intensive care in Grenoble hospital before regaining consciousness. He was then moved to a hospital closer to home in Lausanne before returning home in early September 2014. Since then, there has been little information revealed about the 46-year-old and his recovery.
  18. Here is a review of the kit.
  19. This should tell you what you want to know.
  20. Nice work Matt. Do you know if this body style every was raced?
  21. Thank you for the interest and the comments Steve & Bill. Here I have added the oil cooler scoop. Re-scribed the "cut back" door lines and filled the side pipe outlet.
  22. Looks like the Revell body is more accurate to me.
