  1. Spa is such an awesome track.
  2. Great project.
  3. Colin was a great talent and had such a big personality, its a shame he was taken so young.
  4. Nice project Ray. I would like to try military modeling at some point.
  5. Thanks Gene & Ray. I'll admit my fuel lines are not the proper gauge. The fuel log and the Weber fuel fittings just don't lend themselves to anything larger.
  6. Unusual kit from Tamiya in that it has full engine detail. I have one of these in the stash. I'll be watching.
  7. Another great trade BIGTRUCK. Thanks Ken.
  8. The Singers are sweet.
  9. The 964 is my least favorite.
  10. "You've gota dig deep" "You have to make the time" "You have to give 110%" I've got more.
  11. It will almost be a shame to see this model fully assembled. Maybe you could do some exploded view photos before final assembly.
  12. Good luck with your project Pat. Don't believe I have ever seen an electrical panel installed horizontally - May not meet code if that matters.
  13. The 911 is one of my all time favorites in any guise.
  14. Thanks Nie & Tony glad you're enjoying the build. Ron I always enjoy your projects so if I can provide a bit of a spark I am happy to do so. HRM provides resin pins on the bottom of the Webers but I fell more confident with brass rod.
  15. Not sure about the fender extensions but I used Fujimi's 1/24 scale 911 engine in both my 914/6 and 914/6GT builds and they fit just dandy.
  16. When we were developing HRM's 914/6GT trans-kit I spoke with DMC decals. He was interested in producing multiple livery sheets but did not wish to add them to his line of decals. He required that HRM purchase a minimum number of sheets. A financial risk HRM was not willing to take on in addition to producing the kit.
  17. I have the Color Me Gone and the Ramcharger Dodge 330 kits available for trade if you are interested.
  18. Sure beats the Amphicar.
  19. Very nice wheel/tire set. They are the same items included in Fujimi's Ferrari Daytona Enthusiast kits.
  20. Another way to attack an IMSA conversion would be to cut the fenders off a 2nd body and just add flat stock around the edges to move them outward. I did something similar on the 914/6GT conversion.
  21. AMT did a few kits with the IMSA style fender extensions, the Monza and Corvette kits come to mind. Might work well if you chose to take on such a conversion.
  22. Thanks Maxx. Gene I am 99% sure they used a racing fuel blend. I recall reading a race account recently where the fuel mixture caused an issues. I'll have to look it up to be sure.
