  1. I've never seen it. It would be interesting if it does include the Super Snake parts. Only two of these cars where built, Shelby's personal car (CSX3015) and one for Bill Cosby (CSX3303). The car scared Cosby so bad after driving it only once that he returned it to Shelby. Horsepower was estimated by Shelby to be "About 800".
  2. The Sunny kit is the original AMT Cobra kit with a modified body and interior to represent a 427. The Sunny kit was also issued by Academy but labeled an AC 289 Cobra. To the best of my knowledge the kits (Sunny and Academy) appear to be identical, except for decals.
  3. Way to rich for me David. I have seen the 1/12 scale Ferrari GTO in person and it is a very impressive kit. I'm sure the Cobra will be just as impressive.
  4. Price will push four figures I'm sure.
  5. I'll be following Ray.
  6. Great project Ron.
  7. My Dad owned several different Falcons. Nothing as cool as this though. Nice work.
  8. Thanks Stephen. The comp cars ran dual batteries installed behind the passenger seat. Scratch built batteries and tray.
  9. Your build are always top notch Steve. This one is no exception.
  10. Nice Nick.
  11. Thanks Wayne. Yet another mockup checking fit of the side pipes.
  12. David, I have the HRM kit. I can scan instructions for you Monday. JC
  13. Great drawing. Not sure those skinny front tires would hold up.
  14. Two nice builds Nie.
  15. Very nice Dave.
  16. Love the old F1 cars. Nice job.
  17. CSX3016 was one of only three 427's delivered with dry sump lubrication. Fabricated the oil tank and permanently installed the engine. The oil fill tube will be installed through the front fender during final assembly.

    Austin Healey

    Nice job Ulf.
  19. I would consider NASCAR (80's and newer) and Pro Stock engines as crate motors.
  20. Thanks Ray & Maxx. A few pictures from our recent club meeting, under much better lighting than my work bench.
