Thank you Justin! Now I just have to get myself to get back on it.....the main reason I stopped was to build my paint booth. The paint job on this will be of the Red Bull theme. Pearl blue, Pearl Yellow, and Pearl Silver with red accents and black wheels. I will try to have it done by the March Kemps show in Davenport.

I got the Academy Hyundai Azera (WOO HOO) on Friday night for FREE in the raffle at my local model meeting, also got a Tamiya S2000 kit for $10.00, a Fujimi Lexus SC400 kit (roof was collapsed.....I already made it into a convertible) but only paid $5.00 for it, and a Tamiya Skyline GTR parts kit for free from a friend. Saturday at the KKIM show I scored: Tamiya Calsonic GTR kit for $15.00, a ROG Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano for $10.00, Revell Civic tuner kit for $5.00, a bag of 911 Turbo kit for $3.00, AMT 1957 Chevy Stepside all in one kit (free in the raffle.) ALL IN ALL, a great weekend for kits!!

A lot of the whining and complaining just gets louder the more model companies increase the amount of a new kit. For instance, when they are charging $23.00 to $28.00 retail for a kit that has the quality of the same model from the past that was to be had for around $10.00.........let the ear opera begin!

Thanks Nick! I had a great time seeing all you guys too......LOVED the boat pictures Nick! Especially the "helpers." A special thanks to those who voted for my 1/12 scale Widebody Camaro at the "Kustom Kemps in Miniature" show yesterday........It took "Best Primer" and "Bowl me Over" trophies.......I was just blown away!! Now I will just have to get my butt to finish it!!

My friend, I am so happy for you, Lisa, and of course Lilly! She is such a cutie and so deserves this! I will pray for you and your family that God's hand will direct the individuals involved to help you in any way they can.

Wish I could go this year.....I'll be flying back from the Bahama's that day.

Looking awesome Mark!! Really nice blue (looks VERY close to World Rally Blue) You should BMF the inner door handles (you painted silver).....they were chrome on the STI'S. Not criticizing....just throwing that out there.

Thanks Andy! It is a fun kit that has a bunch of great parts in it......just do a lot of mockup of the body and chassis and you should be good. Thanks Kerry! Just noticed I should probably put some mirrors on the doors.....DOH! -

Thank you Carl..... I value your opinion and appreciate you following. -
Got her done last night and polished out tonight.........impressions of the kit: It is fun to build until you get to fitting all the body parts together, even with hours of mockup on this the hood still does not fit perfectly. The taillight section is a joke to get glued on without getting any bubbles under the smoked clear parts (which is why I painted mine black...I just could not take it anymore!!!) All in all though, it came together into something I dont mind displaying. The paint/clear is 8 coats thick: of HOK Kandys and Pearls (gold and blue) and of course clearcoat.....then wetsanded with 3000 to 13000 grit and polished with Plast-x and Meguiar's Mirror Glaze High tech Yellow wax. (My fingers are sore....) Better pics will come when there is ambient sunlight, but for now........here you go!

X2 I think that if it would increase the amount of kits available (and a MORE diverse selection) then why wouldn't we be behind Revell to come out with more "curbside" kits to speed up the time it takes to manufacture molds and get these new offerings to market. I, for one, wouldn't mind this because it is easy enough to cut open a hood and add an engine and driveline.......they could even add engine kits to the market you could buy seperately (LSX, HEMI's, but not just V8's, perhaps 2JZ, RB25DETT, SR20DET, etc) Just a thought.

Your attention to even the smallest facet of detail is just outstanding Jeremy! This will be a kit to have for sure......I know I want one!
