  1. Wow, Ray! I'm not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said. I think that this has to be one of, if not the nicest example of this model I have ever seen. Great job!!!
  2. My-oh-my, that is fantastic. Another gorgeous model from your workbench, Harry. I really admire your work. You must have a good working knowledge of the autos of this era. Are they something you've always liked?
  3. She looks like a nice, clean build, Tim. Paint looks great!
  4. Thanks for the comments, guys! I believe the decals are by Cartograph. They were great to work with. The blue "strobe" style decals from front to back were fairly large. Each side was three pieces. I only had to use Micro Sol and Micro Set on them and that was mostly to get the decals to settle into the panel lines. There was very little carrier film around the edges. In fact, I didn't trim any of these decals. That is also partly due to the fact of having 24 hours to get the model completed.
  5. How cool is this?!?! What a great car! Nice work on the decals and nice work on the kit.
  6. Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments.
  7. Thanks Bob! Since the first 24 hour build I participated in I have tried to keep the spirit of the idea, to start and finish a model in 24 hours. I cleaned up the body first, shot Tamiya primer and Tamiya paint. Set body in a dehydrator for a few hours. The paint that you see has not been rubbed out at all. This gave me plenty of time to lay down the decals. I got about 70% of decals on in the 24 hour period.
  8. I thought I would share my 2015 24 hour build with all of you. I actually nearly finished this model in the 24 hour time period. I spent several more hours on it after the official 24 hour build was done. It is a relatively easy kit. It is a low part count / high decal count kit. It is a Tamiya kit. Let me know what you think!
  9. She looks good! Interior is very nice....and the paint, oh man, beautiful. Great model!
  10. Another great looking NASCAR racer!
  11. Great looking Mustang.
  12. Very nice, OC!
  13. You really do beautiful work, Karsten!
  14. Fantastic work! 1:8th scale...Wow, that has got to be big.
  15. Beautiful! The first picture could easily pass for the 1:1 reference picture. Fooled me at first . Great work, Chuck!!
  16. Thanks, Tom and Chuck! I actually liked the green on the box art build but when I saw it in orange, that is the way I had to go. This one is not a contest contender, just a shelf model.
  17. Thanks, Jeff and Peter. I see Fotki is acting up. One picture, the middle one, is now missing.....sigh. I'll give it some time, maybe it will come back.
  18. I just finished this one up last night. This was just a straight forward build, nothing added other than BMF and flocking.
  19. Scott, you beat me to it. I am going to finish up my 24 hour build and hopefully, do my Dragonfly next. What color did you paint yours? Bright white, off-white? Are you going to post any WIP pics? I am looking forward to seeing how yours comes out.
  20. Very nice, Tim. You nailed the ride height. Looks great!
  21. Scott, I got mine from Hobbylinc. Megahobby has them listed too.
  22. Very, very nice! I especially like the first two pictures.
  23. How cool is this!!!! Arrived today.
