I thought about using black when taking these pictures. May try later this week with a black background or just some outside pictures.

Thank you all!

Wanted to do a run of the mill Charger, so I did a low performance big block automatic car. I did have to use the Dana that came with the kit cause I didn't have any spare 8 3/4 rears. Kept extra detailing to a minimum, but did use flocking and BMF. The hood don't want to shut all the way, think the hood hinges are the culprit.

Thank you all!!!

Thank you! I looked up both kits and they are different then this one. Mine is 3 piece (trumpets are molded to the throttle bodies) theirs is 11 piece on the Desoto and 7 for the Anglia

Been awhile since I've posted anything up. Figured I'd share my 57 I finished a few weeks ago. Details: AMT kit paint is Duplicolor Nissan Orange Mist Metallic solder headers 30 gauge wrapping wire for plug wires vintage peal n stick whitewalls on front tires Fuel injection setup from parts box, anyone knows what kit is from, I'd like to know please Thanks for looking, and hope the pictures aren't to large, think I got then to a nice viewable size for this page.

I got this kit not to long ago. And was wondering if anybody knows of anyone making a S14 for it or plans on making one for the missing engine in the kit?

1972 Chevrolet Blazer Feather Edition
JasonC replied to JasonC's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Thanks guys. Yeah it was a finicky model to put together. And the top doesn't really sit well on it. Doesn't want to set on the top of the windshield frame. I think some sanding on the top could lower it to sit even on there. -

Thanks!. Looks like dirt in the paint. But its dust on top of the model. Should of took a cloth to it before taking the pictures. -

Let me know what the pictures look like cause I used the file uploader on this forum. Also the Nova pictures can be found in this thread http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/76328-69-nova-ss-350-with-tunnel-tam/ -
Just finished up this Blazer. It's not my best work, but not my worst either lol. Paint is Rustoleum Dark Bronze with Krylon Saddle Tan. I added BMF, flocking, and plug wires. Made a hitch for it, my first attempt at such a thing. I also tossed in some stuff in the back. And have noticed that I do have the tailgate mounted too low..

Thanks guys! This paint really pops in sun light. Like to get some outside pictures too.

Lets say it's close to Q5..... Used an AMC engine paint for the color. I didn't go crazy with details. Used BMF, flocking, and redlines from the AMT tire pack. The wheels and hubcaps are from the Lindberg 64 330 dodge kit.

Thanks for all the comments! So on to the questions, I will not be at NNL it's kind of to far away for me. I can't remember the color I painted it cause I painted it about 9 years ago and stuck it back in the box. As for the convertible models. Toylvr is right on the late model cars being hardtops only in model form. And someone did offer a resin boot. But this boot came in the kit. And they even offer the boot in the latest release of the corvair kit. Now about the center mount four barrel not working well.. I got a 65 Monza with a 140 4 speed. It has the four barrel setup and works very well! Even in 30℉ temps. I have a 450 cfm Holley on it, Clark's stinger exhaust setup, unknown cam, AMC Comp Cam 1.6 roller tip rockers, deep finned pan and finned valve covers. Its a very fun car!

Think I got them fixed now. Rehosted from Photobucket and chopped the size in half. My monitor is 21" so that's why they look normal on mine.
-
I used Facebook to host them. Maybe I'll try uploading them to Photobucket later and host from there to see if there is a difference.

Odd, looked fine on my computer, but now on my phone they look smooshed.

It's been a while since I've posted on here. But I thought I'd share this recent build that I finished. I didn't go crazy on the details, tried to keep it simple. I did make a single 4Bbl setup for the engine tough.

Nice, but needs BMF on the front and rear window trim.
-
Uhh, why not try to put the correct redline tires in it?
-
Nice Trans Am, that color really complements it.

Nice, love the tinted blue headlights to!
