  1. Nice, but you messed up on the trunk.
  2. Decals I found on eBay.
  3. I haven't been messing with my models much lately, but did shorten the headers down on this one. Still need to finish the whole thing....
  4. What about the vinyl top trim? I've noticed most cars on the show had it. But I seen in the first episode that there was a cross flag behind the rear window on the body infront of the trunk lid like this one below. That's the only time ive seen it on one.
  5. The AMT kit is kind of cheap/lacks detail. I seen the 69 Revell kit at Wal-Mart the other day...
  6. Also remove the heater motor on the firewall. This is a very nice build! I have yet to pick this kit up, kind of want to after seeing a few on here!
  7. For your 69 engine colors, 318=red, 383 2bbl=turquoise, 383 magnum=street hemi orange, 426 Hemi=street hemi orange, 440 magnum= street hemi orange
  8. No don't be sorry. If you have information and proof to back up your statements, let it roll! There are some people here to make a more accurate scale model. And may not know what some details should be. I can scan the rest of the article that the magazine wrote on the car if anyone wants. It does have more pictures. They're in b&w though.
  9. Looking good!!! There's some small inaccuracys, but overall great model and very fine workmanship!
  10. New or old. I don't care. If its a kit I like or want, I'll buy it.

    71 Duster

I was at a show yesterday and this original LO23 dart was there. One owner car too. Took some pictures of the fit. And yes Duster is the same under the hood as a Dart.
  12. Awesome idea. I've been up in the air to what to use on mine. Was wanting to find a keg, but no luck.
  13. Not a fan of the hellaflush/stance scene, but will say it is a well done model.
  14. They look good for just starting!
  15. What did you use for the gas tank?
  16. Beautiful!!!
  17. I've seen many older Mopars on here with the engine bays done wrong or painted wrong or just incorrect. Like black firewalls, red heater hoses, and other small incorrect details. I've had this picture out of a magazine called "CARS" its a 1969 issue, don't know the month though. Usually one don't see many color pictures of a new car from 69, let alone a engine bay shot. This here is a 383 with ram air. Thought it may help with peoples searches of what one looked like when new. Some things I've noticed, even though they may not pertain to a scale model. engine color painted ground on the firewall, neg. batt cable, PCV valve, orange paint burning off the exhaust manifolds. And yes, I know the Supercars Member sticker on the air cleaner is incorrect lol.

    71 Duster

I like the color, what is it? And why use the b body hood hinges? I think the 68-69 Revell Dart kits have the correct hinges.
  19. Got the link to the thead on the factory 69 GTX 440-6? And where did you get the 440 Super Commando pie pan decal?
  20. Man these are nice!!!! And since you noted they are not factory correct, I won't pick on you about the 6Bbl and black framerails on the front
  21. Not the first image I think of when I see a e30 M3. You probably noticed this kit kind of SUCKED, as in not a very well executed model of the 1:1 car. Also, maybe some black trim around the windows to give it a little more detail. Otherwise your modeling skills look great. And nice touch with the DTM wiper.
  22. Love the wheel combo!
  23. Still not showing.
  24. Thank you for that expansive reply! I'm just asking cause I've seen builds that replicate a 1:1 car and then when you view the chassis, the frame rails are black. And then when they went to all the trouble to getting the car correct as can be, one sees that mess up. Granted this is a custom setup. But still the frame rails are part of the body.
  25. Neat! But I wonder why you guys paint the frame rails black on these unibody cars?
