That's an AWESOME build. I am in the process of starting mine so you are an inspiration. Quick question for the Silver trim around the tailight lenses how did you do that?

Hello all. So I cracked the seal on the Foose 1965 Impala and as always I have questions. The only certainty is not doing it as a Foose custom. However please see the following. Where can I score appropriate aftermarket skins (Blackwalls)?if I intend to go the dogdish route then where do I buy appropriate white walls? the body will be White, and the interior will be an Aqua shade. As always thank you in advance for help.

Hello all, I hope everyone is doing good. Three years ago to this date I purchased the Ford LNT8000 Snowplow kit with the intention of doing it as the plow. However, I decided to do it as a tractor and have from time to time have picked her up done a little bit, got bored and started another project and later on went back to it. This time I have decided to get it finished within the next month or so. This is the progress thus far on "Hilda". Yes, I have some touchups to do. The fuel tanks, correct the crappy job I did on the left front hood emblem, and a few other things I find. Probably will go with "weed burner" exhaust. All in all not a terrible job, but I know I could do much better. The next time I build one.

Thanks for your reply. I am looking forward to the warmer weather. Caught up on color choice at the time. If you wouldn’t mind posting some pics I’d really like to see your work. Thanks

My 1969 AMT Riviera will be started in a couple of months. However since Winter here in NJ is a pain in the caboose I will be doing a lot of test fitting, sanding, and picking out paint choices. Since the kit is a stock, or custom I am at an impasse on which to choose so I have taken pics of the body with each hood in place.

The 1956 Bel Air is my favorite of the Tri Fives. Not knocking the other two but there has always been something about this year for me. Sort of like the 1967 Mustang, and the 1968 Camaro. Since late December is not very cooperative here in South Jersey I usually hold off. However. since this afternoon it is about 63 so I decided to lay a basecoat. I used Testor's One Coat Diamond Dust lacquer. It came out pretty good. When it gets much better weatherwise towards late March, early April I will lay the topcoat. Probably will be using a Testor's Blue (either Deja Blue, or Star Spangled Blue). Interior will be White seats with Blue inserts, Black carpeting. This one will not be two tone I have decided. As I will be doing the rest of the car over the Winter can anyone advise how i can do exhaust tips. I also will be trying wiring an engine for the first time, and also flocking. Any suggestions in regard to those please feel to let me know.

That's an awesome job.. I had that kit way back when. If I remember correctly the Vette on the box was Orange, and Black.

I am going to do both (fingers crossed) the AMT/Model King 1970 1/2 Camaro Z28, and the MPC 1967 Streaker Vette (latest reissue). Whichever comes out better will be my entry for the contest. -

Hello all, Hope everyone’s well. Is there a chance that there will be a 2023 car buildoff? I have participated in the truck buildoff this year.

Clearly the '56 is my favorite of the Tri-Fives. Yours is phenomenal. Is it the Monogram issue? I am on the fence on colors for mine and I really like your color choices. Thank you for sharing.

WOW those are really nice. I have just gotten the 56 Belair @ Ollies and is my 1st one up come Springtime. Yours will be my inspiration. I have contemplated a number of colors including Blazing Black, and Diamond Dust which happen to be in my paint stash, so they are in the running. But as always, I will probably change my mind as much as a 17 year old girl figuring out which prom dress to wear. In any event I will be watching. Thank you for sharing.

Could use a suggestion

That's exactly the look I'm going for. As far as the two tone paint goes that will challenge me. But the tires and wheels yes.
