  1. Bill I’ll be watching yours. I am working on the newest version. A couple of questions which both pertain the back of the car. How easy is it to fit the back panel in? Also how should I attempt to do the trim around the taillights?
  2. Questions about the ‘67 Fastback. The instructions state to cut out the panel in the trunk. Can I just leave it and glue the trunk lid over it? Also the wheels, and backings are a little bit wide. Any suggestions to modify them, or does anyone know where I can purchase slightly wider tires? Thanks.
  3. Just picked up at my model car club meeting. The Shelby I am building for my youngest Son. Just need to pick a color for it.
  4. Thanks for the reply. Only have one question at this time. There are mold lines right behind the doors on the top (see pics). What is the suggested grit to remove those prior to priming her?
  5. Hello all as seen in my title I just opened up my AMT 1957 Tbird. I am looking for tips, issues, etc. with the kit. I know it has opening doors so that is a concern as I have never done a kit with opening doors. As always help is most appreciated.
  6. My 1970 Firebird Trans Am started. Laid a coat of Tamiya White primer. Then just l laid down a base coat of Testors Diamond Dust. Will wait a couple of days to spray the TS51 Racing Blue top coat. As much as I like using enamels, certain models should only be sprayed with lacquers. This kit falls in that category for me.
  7. Hello all hope everyone’s well. Looking for a resin Sixpack hood for the AMT Plymouth Duster. Can anyone suggest where I might find one. Thank you.
  8. My Pete 359 AMT Wrecker kit going to be a daycab from Cali. Color is Rustoleum Gloss Deep Turquoise. I know a lot of modelers out there don’t like Rustoleum or Krylon but I get good results.
  9. Thanks. Also always wondered in those pictures was the two tone Red & White, or Blue & White. Something to ponder.
  10. My thing with this kit when I say Holy Grail is a couple of things. One is the fact is I got my original back in 1976 or 1977 in a hardware store in my hometown. Started the build and put it in the side never finished it. The bigger piece to me were the instructions booklet and the B&W pictures of the completed build. Always stuck with me. Now I am hung up on which front wheels to use. Like the spokes all the way around but the 10 holes intrigue me. The only things I’m set on the color (Blue), the livery which will be Loadmasters unless I screw up the decals then. The frame I guess in Black.
  11. Thank you. Wait till you see the next one I’m working on.
  12. Very nicely done. If possible could you post some pics of the cab tilted so I can see the exhaust tubing set up from the exhaust manifold to the bottom of the stack. I’m planning on doing a SD with a single stack similar to yours.
  13. Well after my original choice bit the dust literally. I quickly pivoted to Project 359. I can actually say I’m pleased with the outcome.
  14. She’s finished. Moving the topic to Under Glass.
  15. Just picked this up at Hobby Lobby. My Son chose the kit and the color.
  16. Thanks I will start it when I have the chance.
  17. Afternoon all. About 95% done. Just some final parts, paint touch up, and last of the decals and she’ll be done.
