  1. Also have a question about hood fitment. The two I’ve built thus far the hood does not fit flush against the front of the cab. Any suggestions? Picture of my latest one built in ‘18 for reference.
  2. Good day group hope all are good. Anybody use Auslowe parts? Will be looking to buy their visor.
  3. This tractor will be a “what if” fleet unit. Not sure if the company I am replicating ever used White Freightliner’s. Hoping the Winter weather from time to time will cooperate for painting. However she will hopefully be done sometime in the Spring.
  4. Thank you. I am a big fan of the slimline freight units of the 1960’s-70’s.
  5. Looks great Brian. Something about those 60’s/70’s White Mtors cabover “work” trucks. 7000’s, Freightliner’s, Road Commanders that were cool.
  6. Thanks it’s the one from the Mack Cruise-liner.
  7. Will do some work on the frame this week. Haven’t picked her up yet to do so but Winter may not allow me to prime or paint her yet, Still thinking on a few things. Will post pictures as I progress.
  8. Tom thanks for sharing. That’s sharp.
  9. So back to this one after a few months and a broken front axle I’m back to working on the final touches. Changed the front visor color to Aluminum.
  10. To all, Good Morning hope everybody is well. Need a two tone color opinion. I like the TS60 as a cab color. The frame is between the TS35 and TS43. Opinions, thoughts, disdain towards the colors is most appreciated. Thanks.
  11. Well sometimes the weather cooperates in Southern NJ in January. 65 degrees and 39 pct humidity. Want to desperately paint the cab but waiting on a part that prohibits my painting now. The frame painting will have to suffice for now.
  12. Thanks for the tips Bill. I believe the stack supports should fit in proper position in the forward most fuel tank strap. As far as the cab supports I believe I will have to measure using the SD I built last year.

  14. Very, very nice job. Loved those old CF units. Especially loved the AMT SD with the Green CF unit on it. When I really got into Class 8 Trucks as a teen back in 1975 I went to a Truck Rodeo in Long Island NY near where I lived. This is the first truck I saw and really hooked me. Loved them then as I do now.
  15. Thanks guys. I find my detailing and decaling is my strong suit. That and my inate ability to change my mind about paint colors more times than a girl choosing a prom dress.
