  1. Thanks for the tips Bill. I believe the stack supports should fit in proper position in the forward most fuel tank strap. As far as the cab supports I believe I will have to measure using the SD I built last year.
  2. Very, very nice job. Loved those old CF units. Especially loved the AMT SD with the Green CF unit on it. When I really got into Class 8 Trucks as a teen back in 1975 I went to a Truck Rodeo in Long Island NY near where I lived. This is the first truck I saw and really hooked me. Loved them then as I do now.
  3. Thanks guys. I find my detailing and decaling is my strong suit. That and my inate ability to change my mind about paint colors more times than a girl choosing a prom dress.
  4. This is my cab. I did the stirrup steps with wire I found at Walmart.
  5. Will try and get some painting done on her this weekend. Saturday is supposed to be 67 degrees. I also noticed that a fuel tank is a slight bit off. Since she isn’t gonna be showroom new it may lend to the charm of her. We shall see.
  6. I will go as boxstock as I can. Not an outside the box builder generally.
  7. Thanks but Mother Nature has to become cooperative and I can start to paint her. I will attempt assembly on the frame perhaps this weekend. I will post pics.
  8. Welcome to the fray. Can’t wait to see yours. I am building the same model albeit the standard 3 axle one. This is going to be a fun BRBO which is my 1st one.
  9. I have the same project going. Leaving the frame stock length.
  10. Okay so during further inspection it appears that the right side ladder steps for the sleeper are mismolded and bend out too far of an angle. Any suggestions?
  11. Happy New Year as well. Thanks it oughta be fun.
  12. Bring it I can’t wait to see it come to life.
  13. Can’t wait to see her come to life again.
  14. Sadly not yet. Our beautiful weather here in the Northeastern corridor will prohibit painting the truck until at least mid-late March. Until then it’s get the color pallet in order. Choose the livery and get all fuel tax stickers in order. Draw out and design the interior colors and away we go.
  15. Thanks guys Happy New Years as well. I like building these snap kits.
  16. Happy New Year. My first post for the BRBO 2020 my Peterbilt 359. Yes it’s a box of parts now but it’ll start getting built in short order. Wishing all luck on their projects can’t wait to see the finished products.
  17. Only one more day. Happy New Years Eve
