Kerry I'll be watching. They could create a dented up Mack RModel, but never put either the Garbage Truck, or the WT9000 into production? Curious decisions back then.
Very nice job. Definitely big rig material. when I was a tyke back in the 1960's I had a similar unit made by a toy company called Marx. Mine had a white cab.
I'll get at least one to make as a project that's been rolling around in my skull for a while. I'd like to do it as a mid 1970's Exxon unit. I grew up in Long Island NY so I believe that they may have had LNT8000's at one point. I know they ran White 4000's. Originally thought about doing it as a Texaco unit similar the the large Matchbox tanker unit my friend had. But there have been some Texaco examples out there before. Wanna be different. Secretly hoping that they will find a way to do a hinged hood.
Good morning all hope everyone is well.I have heard that Round 2 is bringing back the Ford Louisville Dumptruck reissue. Any truth to this? If so they should sell a lot of them. It's one I never had the opportunity to have back in the 1970's so fleet LNT8000 tractor here I come.
KJ love this truck and where you're going with it. As always you have an eye for detail and it definitely shows. Looking forward to the finished build.
I really like that. Looks very nice. Here is mine which has sat for like 2+ years. The frame color is similar to one that Tim Ahlborn had posted that was (maybe?) at the Newark, California plant. Eventually I may finish it. Or maybe not. You never know with me.
