Easy Ford's Atomic Powered Vehcile the Nucleon and here it is with Tails This Should be Easy

Nice Build, but I would tell the Kids to stay out of the back of the Camper!! Unless you plan on mounting wheelie bars, then you can easily do wheelstands going down the road Frames a bit short, looks like a Long Bed or 1 Ton Camper on a SWB Chassis....

Dragon7665 replied to Ron Hamilton's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
'58 Delray 2dr Hardtop(Even in my Favorite Blue!!) ... Personally I have always prefered the look of the Delrays over Impala's, because of their side trim and tails!!! Glad to see your Bis-Quick as been released Art, I knew if I held my breath long enough it might -
Nah You pretty much got it straight Playa, but now it's more of a Stylin Term to cover anything Vintage.. Instead of what is now refered to as "Retro Styling", it is Simply "OG Style" Huggy Bear for instance, Playa has Pleanty OG Pimp Class... IE he has alot of Class like those that came before him.

Dragon7665 replied to Ron Hamilton's topic in Model Cars
Magnificent Job with one of my Favorite Bodystyles and LowRida Kustom(Especially the Mustard & Vanilla's with the Wires, and Biscuit/Diamond Pillow Tops) B) Wawa BTW it's Ghetto not gettos -
Lyle, I remember a bit of your write up(Not too long ago), but the articles I was refering to, were written back in the mid-late 1990's(Was that you too then??)... The ladders were used for side vents like yours, but the shutters were foil casted, so that they could be added to a curved deck lid.... Great Looking Deuce BTW

I remember seeing a couple of Model Mag Issues(I want to say SAE, followed by an updated version in FSM), that had to do with using pieces found in a Model Rail Road Section(Ladders or House Window Shutters??), and then Grafting them onto the panels for styling....

Looks Real Good Bob Makes me want to try and dig out my '74 that was partially converted to a rag(previous owner, and top was beyond repair) and finish it!!(Sucks that I am really Busy with work, and my Storage Unit is 45Miles from me)... Really like the Interior, it reminds me of my Father's '71 Kingswood Interior

Colors For Welding Tanks
Dragon7665 replied to Paul Payne's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yep typically Rust Red,Black,Orange,Etc., but it also can really depend on the Vendor and how they mark their tanks.... In most cases, a vendor will use any color tank, so long as it still meets pressure specs, and is poperly labeled for it's contents... -
59 Buick Roadster Custom By Ted "chopper" Lear
Dragon7665 replied to ViperDave's topic in Model Cars
Wow Fantastic Job with the Color, and Over-all execution of it! Chopper does some Amazing Work I've got an Old '59 Buford Vert Gluebomb that's missing it's windshield posts, and I have always thought it screamed Roadster! Now I just got to remember what I did with it! -
Wow this is the first I have seen this post, so Thanks for bringing it back up MoParKid999 And Peter, All I have to say is WOOOOOOOW!!!!!!! The '64 Charger Concept was one of the Cars that sucked me in to being a MoPar Fan when I was growing up :o I remember seeing a feature of it Hemmings Muscle Machine/Classic Cars, and MoPar Muscle Mag several years back, when it was being searched for and found! You've Done an Amazing Job replicating it!

I have a '66 Toro with the original 425, single fruit-jar res., and 4way drums that my Father brought home when I was 3yrs old..... When I was 16yrs old, my Pop and I were coming down a Local "Hill"(Think San Fran Long Drop Style like in old Movies) that has two stop lights within a few feet of eachother at the bottom, even in low gear and off & on braking, the brakes overheated and we went through both red lights before coming to a stop Needless to say, when that car gets an overhaul, the first thing changed will be the fruit-jar for a later dual, and the front drums will become Discs(Rears may become Eldo/Toro/Seville Rear Discs as well!)... Amazingly Beautiful 66 Chevol Rob

WHOA That's got to be the Koolest Callaway or AMX I have ever seen Wow Fantastic job, definately a car that should've/should be built in 1:1!

Any Oz. V8 Supercar Kits?
Dragon7665 replied to CAL's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
The 2004-06 GTO's were rebadged and nosed Holden Monaro's, which were based off of Holden's VT-VZ Commodore's. Aside from the number of doors, shorter boot, and slight top modifications, the Monaro's(GTO's) and Commodores are the exact same cars. They all share the same wheelbase, so modifying GTO to a larger Commodore wouldn't be too much of a strecth -
You are correct, Saleen was hired by GM, as Per Mann's suggestion, but it was GM that supplied the Camaro Fiberglass panels, and the use of their molds to make other parts if needed. As Per the link Dave Supplied: GM also had a few of its engineers, and other employees on hand, to help the conversions go more swiftly, and also for other reasons(A Ford Pony Guy was messing with their Pony Concept, they wanted to make sure things stayed where they were supposed to.)..

Hmmmm So is that what the Dark Knight or Boy Wonder uses to haul lumber/etc to & from the Bat Cave Looks Really Kool, Great Start with the Blending of these Icons
-
Just like with any movie using cars in lead rolls, several are needed for various shots, stunts, and etc. GM was more than happy to offer up the Concept Camaro , especially when Michael Bay was offering up a lead roll for it. The catch was that GM only had three cars available(Two Fiberglass Pushers for shows, and One Steel Driver for Press Releases/Etc), none which could be destroyed, so GM offered up the use of their Fiberglass Body Molds,GTO's for modification, and the Steel car for CGI demensioning. GM also had some of their engineers/assembly plant employees on had to help with the modifications of the GTO's to accept the glass bodies.

Partial Paint Removal On A Die-cast
Dragon7665 replied to FUSIONBOY's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
The Majority of well stocked Auto Parts/Hardware/Etc Stores carry it over on their paint isles, towards the bottom of the shelves. There is also an Easier to use Aerosol version as well(Usually found right next to the large gel cans). WARNING!!! PLEASE USE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA, WHILE WEARING/USING PROPER EQUIPTMENT(GOGGLES,GLOVES,ACID BRUSH, AND POSSIBLY A RESPERATOR FACE MASK!!)!!! PLEASE BE SURE TO READ INSTRUCTIONS ON CAN THROUGHOLY BEFORE USE, AND ALWAYS REPLACE LID IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE (if gel type). -
Wow I've been thinking about doing one for a few years now, especially a '32 Outstanding Craftmanship!!! :P B) Really like the Dime wheel as well!
-
Wow Fantastic Rebuild Wish I hadn't seen this though, I 've been wanting a 1:1 67 Fasback lately(No the new bodies available aren't making it easier either) !
-
From what I have seen at local shows, I'd say yeah.... The only time I've seen somewhat lower, was $45-$80 Gluebombs I seriously Lucked out on my two, and it took no less that 15yrs to do so

Great Job, she's looks almost ready to Stampede the streets of Cali Chip would be the first to tell you that the Remake Eleanor wasn't his design, it was concieved by Automotive Stylist/Designer Steve Stanford. Chip was the one they hired to take Stanford's design and make her reality! Kit Car Mag even did a write up on her: http://www.kitcarmag.com/featuredvehicles/..._kit/index.html
