    Shouldn't matter if you spray the same amounts of paint (coats) on each part,... I always glue all parts of the body together and fill, sand, prime, paint etc.,...paint as one piece,... If I need to change / alter the frame / undercarriage to fit .. so be it

    That's what I do, spray the whole thing a grey primer, then mask the pans and spray the frame black, then a bit of grime wash,.. Not exact, but I like it Cheers
