  1. Thank you Jason, Scott, Stev, Erik, Gabor,... Fujimi wise ...Hmm ,..I don't know check with Randy @ modelbuilderswh.com in USA @bestbalsakits.com in Belguim or @Elmcityhobbies East Coast Canda @Dundas Valley Hobbies Niagara GTA area I always build the engine first and lay alot of detail in it,.. this tends to takes the viewer's eye away from the rest of the build,,. Went with the Deep Grey suede, but, it has faded... Bright work and glass,.... next

  9. I enjoy the year end posts as well, the thing I don't like is when someone quotes the whole post to say "nice builds"... Pet(ty) peeve
  10. Hoping for a speedy recovery ?
  11. Well well well ...I see the usual suspects are signing in for 11 months of fun and frivolity... This year I am taking these dust collectors out and trying to make a road warrior out of the mess.. Engines comes from the 1960 Chevrolet Apache and will be combined into an inline 8 with a couple of turbos...! The '98 gave up its chassis to the SleeperBall, but it is nicer looking than that '96 Grand Sport Almost time to kick the tires and light the fires boys and girls ! Have Fun!!

  16. The Key is,............................. warm the Paint before spray (HOT pot-O-water) Its well below freezing here
  17. I am spraying indoors through Heated and vented.../not approved by some,...but used by many
  18. Picked this one up from our own.. Randy D.. , and started it right away,... because I don't have a Ferrari ,red or otherwise, in my cabinet ,..yet FUJIMI's Enthusiast model"s have always intrigued me, I tried one many years ago (BMW something, something, something) many, many small parts.... Steering wheel still lives in my spare parts cabinet,..anyway... Got the engine into shape,... mostly just paint, and washes and some drybrushing and some store bought Ignition wires the transmission was a 10 pc. horror of uneven molds etc. etc., you need to be an enthusiast to build it ... and I am beginning to see the benefits of soldering your own frame works,.. anyway, I liked the engine so much, I am going to display it out of car,.. the kit rubber was a bit small to my eye (not supposed to be in yer eye????) parts pack After Alclad white filler primer, first coat of ,....Duplicolor,(close to Ferrari Red Corsa onfire ah)* *warmed in a pot of hot water* 2nd coat *warmed in a pot of hot water* 3rd *warmed in a pot of hot water* More to follow Cheers and... Merry Christmas
