  17. I hear ya there, construction materials and deliveries are incredibly expensive here now...something about a virus Cannonball on !!
  18. slow down on the 3" screws, unless you know there isn't hydro running thru those joists, or plumbing.. I would suggest putting down some 1/2" spruce ply over that aspenite, and 2" screw it every 4"....and I really would have put some Rockwool insulation into those joist pockets first Great looking so far !!
  19. I've had good luck mixing craft paints (Michaels) with Testors acrylic thinners 50/50.
