  1. The Alclad Aqua Gloss Clear is a great clear coat and can be put on over anything, I've tested it. Tamiya paints are their own animal, so stick with Tamiya colour and clear if you like to spend money. This is $1.00/oz. craft paint with Alclad Aqua Gloss Clear over it... Test all painting on some scrap plastic before painting your model

  3. I would stick to the same brand of paint for colour and clear..watch combining laquer over acrylic... Yellow sounds great. The panel line accent can wait until the end, they don't need to be gloss. The Ammo MiG colours, I believe are airbrush ready, but check the viscosity (I have not used them personally).   22. Yes to all of the above...have you guys flipped the jaws / springs on the clothes pins? I find they can get in a little tighter to the object ... the bottom, left pegs have been reversed
