  1. Looks good Mike!!! I got a little bit more done on mine tonight. Got the glass in it, and did some motor work. I should have it finished up by Tuesday night. Do we post picks of our builds after the deadline Thursday?
  2. Yep!! Got all the goodies, new late war roll off torpedo racks, .50 cal guns, Oldsmobile bow gun, 20mm pom pom aft. I must have spent close to $70 on all the aftermarket stuff to turn it into a late war boat. Still cheaper than the Italeri /35 scale kit!!!
  3. I have a BUNCH of aftermarket stuff for that 109 kit Gary.... LOL
  4. Looks good Jason!!!
  5. Thanks man!! I had it as a kid too, but as kind of a hand me down kit. It had been through my two older brothers, and had quite afew pieces missing. I've hunted high and low for this kit, and finally pulled the trigger on it this morning. Can't wait!!
  6. Finally got my "unicorn" kit!!! 1/8 Monogram Jaguar XKE coupe. Still sealed. Been digging for an affordable one of these for YEARS.
  7. Started building model cars with my dad at 5 years old. My first kit was the Baja VW bus with the little motor bike. Good memories. Been hooked ever since. Been building cars ,trucks, ships, planes , tanks, guns... ect . Its a great time to be a modeler!!!
  8. Lookin good JC!!!! I'm in!!
  9. Cool!! You going to use the tinted windows? that would really set the silver off.
  10. That seat looks like the real deal!! I found a split bench out of the amt '71 charger kit that's going in the Gremi after the deadline is met. Fits just right with a little persuasion. Along with a set of slapper bars, sideview mirrors, and maybe a rearview mirror. But not until AFTER the build-off is done.
  11. Lookin good Tim!! I think i'm gonna leave the rear seat out of mine for now.
  12. Just made another smooth trade with 68shortfleet (Jason Lookabill) kits showed up in perfect condition, and as described. Thanks again Jason!! Looking forward to trading with you in the future!!
  13. Can't go wrong with Cragar wheels and primer!! My first car in high school was a '68 chevy II Nova that had that exact primer paint job and wheel option. Drove it that way for 3 year's before painting it black, then selling it to join the ARMY.
  14. Agreed!! X3
  15. Seems to be ALOT of that going around in the business world on this side of the pond too... 3 bosses for every worker just to make sure he or she does they're job efficiently ........What a joke....
  16. Looking good Tim!! Looks GOOD in primer too!!!
  17. I'd say you made the right choice in wheels/tires. The Ground Hawg's just don't have the same "pop' as the Irok's.
  18. WOW!! that looks COOL!!! Good idea sectioning the kit "weight watcher" seats. I may need to borrow that idea.
  19. Yep. I think I see what you mean by those mad mudder truck tires not working Brian!! These look MUCH better!! Cool build.
  20. Lookin good so far Jason.
  21. Beautiful build Dave. One of my favorites.
  22. AMC Javelin. Definitely!!
  23. i'd have the body, that's about it. get a set of 32 rails, nail head buick, maybe a flathead... Big-n- little wide whites on steelies...... HHMMMM..... Off to the stash!!
