  15. That's looking good Erik! The Impala roof works! Another good roof is the Revell '67 Dodge Charger roof on the AMT Merc. I did an experiment with it and it worked good. It gave it a nice chopped top, fastback look without cutting the roof up. Keep up the great work!

  21. I agree wholeheartedly with Marcus, Dave.... Except when you start talking like Elmer Fudd.... Then I have trouble keeping up with what you say.... It's looking awesome, and I can't wait for the color to go on. You're doing a fine job Doc....
  22. Sorry to hear about your Grandparents passing. Yeah, this town grows and grows.... And grows! If you ever do get back here, there's a great hobby shop in town now: Hobby World of Joplin. You have a great day!
  23. Here's a pic of using brass rod for holding the body together.... I carved a channel out with a Dremel tool.... Then I used epoxy to glue the rod in.... If you use brass strip, you just need to sand a flat spot along the area where you attach it. I owe the credit of this idea to a friend of mine; Ken Hamilton. He's the one who showed me how to keep the body from breaking.
  24. The exact same thing happened with my JoHan 3 way build. Be very careful handling the body, because it will break off at the lower door frame. I used strip brass to stiffen the door frame. What I plan to do is use some more brass pins when I glue the windshield posts back down, but I going to wait until just before I paint the body....
