Nice ! The early exhibition cars were some of my favorites, ushering in the funny cars. You did a wonderful job on your model, a lot of nice details & scratch building.
Wonderful build. '55 is one of my favorite body styles. It's a lot of work to clean up the body to make it a 210, I've done it so I know what you went through. You have a lot of nice features in your car. Looks great !
Enjoy each other and try to remain positive, at least you have doctors you feel comfortable with and give some hope. Wishing you both the best of luck.
It's a nice tribute to Valley Customs, that shop had a unique style and you did a nice job on the model, it looks great, it represents a lot of work on your part.
As a former owner of a '66 Chevelle Deluxe Coupe you did a bang up job, a very well executed conversion, a lot of work but it is an outstanding model. You should be proud.
The model is nicely done and the diorama makes an awesome presentation, I liked the weathering on a traditional custom which is usually done in a gloss paint. It's a bit different which is nice to see. Great job all around.
I repeat what everyone has said , beautiful build, it's well thought out, excellent craftsmanship, perfect paint and photos that compliment the car. One of the nicest models I've seen in awhile.
Nice job on the jalopy style car & nice conversion. Polecat decals has a large selection of vintage stock car decals. They are for specific cars but could be used to make a more vintage non NASCAR look. Again nice job.
That is a model to be proud of, subtle undercarriage weathering, the detailing on the engine is excellent, the Fireball carb just adds to it. Clean workmanship. Congratulations on a beautiful model.
This is a beautiful build. You made a unique piece using various kits to complete it. It's so much more satisfying than just building the later Moebius kit. I always liked the Melrose Missle cars and this is a good example of one. Nice job ! I made a fictional racer out of a '63 Johan Dodge, used much from the Lindberg '64 Dodge for parts so I have an idea of the work you did.
Nice work. I like that era FED, even a bit earlier with the weed burner headers and chute pack aluminum bodies, will be looking for any updates. Stay well.
Wayne thanks for posting the pictures. Also thanks for making the trip to attend the show as it's along trip from your area, Congratulations on your awards, your builds are always well thought out with superb craftsmanship. Your presence made the show that much better.
As some have said, this is the best build of the kit I have seen, the kit leaves a lot to be desired but you showed what can be done with a lot of fabrication & patience. Great job on the car.
