  1. Nice details and subtle weathering. Excellent build of a classic drag kit. These old AMT AWB kits have a lot of possibilities. Your out of the box build came out well !
  2. It's a great looking model, a lot of nice features, the open hood with the slant six and superb paint stand out to me. I have good memories of the family station wagon and our own, thanks for posting.
  3. Definitely thinking outside the box, looks like you went to the Tom Daniel School of Design. It came out well, nice work.
  4. Impressive front end work, represents a lot of work, you've made a nice looking model.
  5. Nice SC T-Bird, loved the plate, spent a lot of time in old Dade County Fla.
  6. Liked your weathering, adds a lot to the model, also it's not overdone.
  7. Very nice build, if you meant it to look real, you succeed ! Nice added features too.
  8. Boring looking or not, I really like the early A/FX cars and you did a real nice job on your model. The early 60's A/FX and S/S classes produced some of the best racing, it's nice to see the cars reproduced by yourself and others on this site. Keep up the good work.
  9. The short lived R & C Models magazine from the 60's was very inspirational and influential on my model making, so much so that I subscribed, great articles and tips. I have the pictured issue and remember reading the sprint car article, it was way beyond my abilities. The model of your Dad's sprint car was great! .
  10. Nice clean workmanship and a beautiful model. It's a difficult kit with the separate fenders. You overcame that issue in good shape. Is it me or does this kits body look better than the newer Nova kit ?
  11. I like the LSR cars and your model came out well, a good representation of the genre.
  12. Nicely done and nice presentation.
  13. What a nice model ! It represents a lot of work on your part, scratch building the body which came out beautifully. I like the overall look of the model. Wonderful work on the model.
  14. This is a nice looking model, the details you added make it stand out . It looks like the cars I used to see in that era. Exceptional model.
  15. Your compilation of your jet car builds is fantastic. Thanks for doing it . Each of your builds have so much going on and so much to appreciate. Nice work on all of them. The photos show them off quite well.
  16. Wow, what a nice model, really like the colors. You did a great job combining the two bodies to create your car. You should be proud of this one.
  17. Very clean build.
  18. Nice body work. I've always liked that Cyclone Styling. Your concept turned out great ! I agree Model Cars are fun.
  19. Nice model ! Your workmanship is excellent, all the details are just right and as others have said, nice trim with the silver sharpie.
  20. Have been a big fan of Dave Deal, to bad he's no longer with us, extremely creative & talented artist. You did a wonderful job converting the stock Mustang body into the cartoon bodied model. Nice work all around.
  21. Very nice model, stance and body modifications are perfect. Good work.
  22. Very nice ! Your building skills don't seem effected by age, excellent model.
  23. Nice ! Always liked those sports cars, very clean build.

    My Ala Kart

It's nice to see that you took the time to fabricate and make the model more realistic and closely replicate the real car. Your building skills are excellent, it is a very nice model that you should proudly display with the poster from the Rodder's Journal.
  25. It's a nice memory of his building skills, I think about many of my modeling friends and family that are no longer here, wish I had pictures of some of their builds to post. Thanks for reviving the posting.
